The entertainment aspect of WWE is more important than wrestling. The most successful period in WWE history, the Attitude Era was based on entertainment, promos and storylines, not pure wrestling. Majority of people would watch Austin/Rock over some technical wrestling match like Bret Hart/Benoit.

-According to The Wrestling Observer, old episodes of Raw and WCW Nitro from the Monday Night Wars era are expected to be added to the Network around the time subscription renewals come up in the early fall.

As we noted yesterday, the Monday Night Wars series is also expected to air around the same time, and could lead into NXT on Thursday nights.

Screw watching current WWE, when you can just rewatch old episodes of Monday night wars.

WWE star Santino Marella says he believes he has longevity in WWE because he can adapt to whatever role WWE asks of him, unlike the group of wrestlers who were recently cut.

"The guys who were released maybe were not as flexible. They couldn't fit into everywhere. I'm versatile. I can do anything. I can sing, dance. I can do it all. I can stay here for another 20 years," Santino told Alfonso Castillo of Newsday in an interview promoting anti-bullying.

According to several live reports, one from reader Matt Harris, during tonight's WWE live event in Toronto, Ontario, Santino Marella got on the mic and announced to the live crowd that he had suffered his third neck injury, and his in-ring career is over.

Huge huge shame. Not that I ever cared about him but he was very well respected in the locker room and was genuinely funny over the years

Tonight’s WWE RAW takes place from the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada with an appearance by Bret Hart and The Miz vs. Chris Jericho in Jericho’s first match since July 15th, 2013.

No other matches have been announced for tonight but we will get more names for the Intercontinental Battle Royal at Battleground. WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight:

* Will The Authority find a way to stop Dean Ambrose from stopping Seth Rollins?

* Will The Wyatt Family appear during Jericho vs. The Miz?

* Is Paige playing mind-games with AJ Lee?

* Will the “Cold War” between Rusev and Jack Swagger heat up?

* Who will join the Intercontinental Title Battle Royal?

Yeh WWE sucks nowadays imo. No major storylines, no edgyness, no proper feuds etc. I just watch out of habit and watch for the odd interesting moment, with hope that the product will improve.

WWE has announced that WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena will face Money In the Bank winner Seth Rollins in a non-title match on tonight’s RAW.

Also announced for RAW tonight is The Miz vs. Chris Jericho and an appearance by WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart.

Triple H, who does not follow TNA Wrestling employees on Twitter, briefly followed Samoa Joe on the social media platform late Saturday night, with Joe adding the WWE executive at approximately the same time as well.

When you follow a person on Twitter, you can also keep tabs on that individual's follow and favorite activity. So late last night, some fans noticed the WWE executive and TNA star following each other (which would allow users to private message each other).

There was talk of doing The Miz vs. Chris Jericho at this month's Battleground pay-per-view and saving Jericho vs. Bray Wyatt for SummerSlam in August.

With Jericho confirmed to be back through September, his only major feud will be with Bray Wyatt. The idea behind the feud is that Jericho elevates Wyatt before taking another hiatus.

While Brock Lesnar is expected to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title and there's been talk of Lesnar defending against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 31, it's still unknown how much Lesnar will be working besides SummerSlam, Night of Champions and a possible appearance at Battleground to put "plan B" in motion against John Cena.

It's also expected that he would work Royal Rumble and WrestleMania 31 at least but there would be many dates he would have to work if he's going to hold the title for several months.
