Cesaro vs Big E for the WWE WHC will bankrupt WWE. Cena turning heel will generate publicity and attract old fans to watch WWE again. Which means more profit long term.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 16
Apparently John Cena is in line to win the WWE World Heavyweight Title at next Sunday's Money In the Bank pay-per-view.
It was previously reported that word from within WWE was that a heel would be leaving Money In the Bank with the title. During Monday's RAW, it appeared they may be grooming Roman Reigns for the title as they had him work his way into the match but that may not be the case as it's likely too soon for Reigns to have a title run.

I don't understand why they can't just give it to Cesaro. Whoever wins it will win it for a month at best because Lesnar WILL win it eventually.
Just let some new guy have it for a bit.
Not that I mind obviously but still.

Cesaro isn't good enough. Totally bland, no personality/character and only good in the ring. Just Curtis Axel with in ring skills.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 16
Cena and Bray are the only two people who are good enough to win it currently.
Unless Lesnar is going to be appearing every week, he shouldn't win the title.

Serious question
Would you all be fine if Bryan beats Brock Lesnar clean?

Yeah, it's fine when someone beats a guy on his own size.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 16
I've said it before. You cannot have a guy's first title reign be a one month transitional title reign to pass it onto Lesnar. It would kill the guys career, or at least hold him back for a few more years. Your first title reign should make you the focus of the show which means your credibility remains once you drop the title. If you aren't the focus of the company, then your title reign came too early (Punk, Sheamus) or you were never good enough to being with (Swagger, Miz).
Putting the title on Cesaro or Wyatt will do more harm than good in the long run.
Giving the title to Cena actually makes the most sense so he can drop the title to Lesnar. Lesnar gets his revenge from his only loss since returning. Lesnar then jobs to Bryan (lol), Reigns or Cesaro at Survivor Series and then moves onto his Wrestlemania program.
Only problem is Lesnar isn't going to work that schedule so we're back to Cena holding the title for the rest of the year until the next guy is ready.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 16
I don't really see anything wrong with short reigns. They used to happen all time back in the attitude era. It makes things interesting.
Cesaro is nowhere near good enough to win the title, but Bray winning would show that he's a legitimate threat. Plus there's rumours of him turning face, so someone could screw him out of the title.
Anyway obviously the safe option is Cena. Right now the best matchup would be Cena/Lesnar/Bryan at SummerSlam, with Bryan regaining the title.
Overall the main summer storyline should determine what the title match is at SummerSlam.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 16
While it initially looked like Bray Wyatt was going to win the WWE world heavyweight championship at Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan's injury has forced many creative changes. It's now likely John Cena will win the title before going on to lose it to Brock Lesnar in the main event of SummerSlam.
It's possible Bryan's first match back will be challenging Lesnar for the title at Night of Champions, though that does not sound like it's what would be best for Bryan's health.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 16
In 2006 unmasked Kane came face to face with a fully masked ‘Imposter’ Kane. This storyline was rumoured to have been penned following speculation that Glen Jacobs was contemplating retirement.
As a result the WWE in not wanting to relinquish the Kane gimmick with Jacob’s retirement, decided to create an ‘Imposter’ Kane based on Kane’s 1997 debut.
This would allow the man portraying ‘Imposter Kane’ Festus, the opportunity to portray his character virtually hidden from the scrutiny of the WWE fans. The plan was to have ‘Imposter Kane’ revealed as the real Kane that the Glen Jacobs Kane had imprisoned for years before stealing his identity.
However the plans were dropped as fans became increasingly confused as to who was the ‘real’ Kane.
In addition as Jacobs decided to hold off his retirement, the whole ‘imposter’ Kane storyline became irrelevant. However had Jacobs retired, the WWE Universe would have been introduced to a new Kane in an old fully masked Kane gimmick!

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 16
Tonight's WWE RAW takes place from the Verizon Center in Washington, DC wit the final hype before Money In the Bank.
The only items confirmed for tonight's show is a contract signing for the WWE World Heavyweight Title Ladder Match and an announcement with the final 6 competitors for the Money In the Bank Ladder Match.
We also know that Triple H will "deal with" Vickie Guerrero and Roman Reigns after their actions on last week's show. WWE is focusing on the following points for tonight:
* Will the entire roster be eligible for the ladder match?
* What consequences will Roman Reigns and Vickie Guerrero face?
* How will Stardust and Goldust continue to turn heads?
* Are we witnessing the gradual extinction of The Funkadactyls?
* Will Dean Ambrose make Seth Rollins pay?
