At first I did give Strootman ahead of Bender but neither of Strootman and Gundogan are DMs. Bender adds more balance on the team as his partnership with Gundogan has been proven to be defensively secure.

You need to say which Bender you want, btw. Or do you intend to cheat and take both along and just use who fits better at any given time?

That's just one player. Frankly, beyond Liverpool, I don't follow teams & clubs that deeply. But I took look at their team and it's very, very good. The midfield and attack is way too young but there's massive potential there and a rock solid defence.
Ljajic, Markovic, Mitrovic, Tadic, Jojic, etc can all only improve.. Serbia might surprise in Euro 2016
And rwo, Subotic got injured when WC qualifications were over.
The real problem wasn't the team, it was the coach, but he got sacked when the qualifications were over
