We play much better with him, without him we get destroyed in midfield. His distribution and control of the ball is needed or someone who could do a similar job.

I really like how Conte utilized the squad and 3-4-3 has done that really well. But not sure it is the best way going forward or at least with the current personal. Midfield is easily nullified and in recent matches we have not been getting the width we once did.

I really hope Conte has a plan to switch to 4-3-3.

That is never going to happen except the occasional brief tactical switch for a few minutes within a match.

Next season, it's between 3-4-3, 3-5-2 and 4-2-4.

3-4-3 looks like it's here to stay, so I don't see where Cesc fits in.

I personally liked the team much better with Cesc instead of Matic in the 3-4-3. Some of our most impressive games has been with him on the pitch.

So if Conte continues what he has been doing then i guess Cesc will continue to play when he sees it fit that creativity is more needed over Matic defensively.

Hopefully Matic leaves in the summer and we bring in a CM who actually cares about defending. Matic is the lord of shit defending for 80% of the season. At least Cesc offers something going forward.
