Re: Diego Costa
Be able to kick a ball straight and he's already overtaken Torres in the pecking order.

His technique puts him ahead of Lukaku.

John Terry applauds Costa signing:
Club captain John Terry has given his verdict on new signing Diego Costa, and believes the striker will be a hit at Stamford Bridge

"First of all, his movement and his strength are really good – I was really surprised by it. I think everyone remembers the square-up we had in the first 10 minutes of the first leg of our semi-final game against Atletico Madrid last season, after which I thought, ‘fair play.’"
"He holds the ball up very well, he has got great movement and he is really physical, but he is very clever with his strength and the way he uses his body. I think he could be a very good signing for us."

Re: Diego Costa
That legit?
No announcement has been made but it's not surprising.
EDIT: just checked the shop, it is.
Side note: Bertrand's number is in the shop

Interesting that he's having his full name on it.

He had the full name at Atleti, so no different.

Players often do in foreign countries but usually are made to drop them when they come to England.

That's not even true the decision is all up to each player whether to drop the full name or not

Re: Diego Costa
Much of the problem is the circular lettering specific to almost universal in this league, which many times meant players had to drop a second name whether they wanted to or not simply because such a large one wouldn't have fit. City have had straight lettering for years and thankfully we've now gone with it too (though whether it's a long-term thing or just a one-off for this season remains to be seen). When they signed Aguero 3 years ago, for example, he was able to retain the full "Kun Aguero" he had at Atleti because it could fit easily on the straight line, whereas if it were the curved lettering it would have looked almost like a full semi-circle.

Re: Diego Costa
José Mourinho tells Diego Costa exactly what he needs from his new £32million frontman during Chelsea's second training session in Austria:
At Chelsea's Waldarena training base in Austria, the Chelsea boss has been spending a lot of time with his new £32million hitman Diego Costa, working to ensure that the 25-year-old knows what his new manager expects of him
