Diego Costa

The most underrated CF in Europe. the guy is an absolute beast, physically massive, fast, good technically, and very intelligent, annoys the fck outta defenders. He is a fantastic CF, and i am already predicting that he will be a big success in CL. When last season we said he carried atletico's attack despite Falcao, it wasnt a joke. He really did, and even in this current Atletico team he looks like a leader. Great great player, as he improves his finishing and consistency, he can easily become a top 5 CF imo.

When we bid for him for 20M this summer, the entire GL went in meltdown saying he is worth 10m max

Dude is a monster and he's become a more consistent goalscorer over the past 5-6 months or so.

Yeah... he's limited and a thug. Effective at what he does, but he's not all that great.

falcao and cavani are hardly poets with the ball, yet look at everything they can do. Thug or not, he makes it a misery for CBs to play against him. I think la liga CBs like playing benzema better than they like playing Diego Costa. Works extremely hard as well. His link up game is also very good.

I wouldn't trade Fred for him.

He's far better on the ball than Falcao and Cavani and is a much better dribbler & passer than either two. No idea what you lot are on about.

He's not as coordinated & fluid with it as players like Ronaldo & Zlatan but like Drogba he's effective going past players & holding it up.

atletico is the small pond? what? you should definitely watch him more. I cant believe myself how much he has progressed but it's real, he is turning into a really really top CF.

Mkhitaryan was one of the best players from Shakhtar Donetsk last season, it is nothing special to recognize the value of a player like Mkhitaryan after a very good season at a team like Shakhtar. I bet everyone saw him but not every team need a player on the position on which he plays.

Hes a useful player, but relax, 10 goals in 26 starts last year is hardly something to take great notice of. He is more than a goalscorer though so credit where its due, but relax.

I was talking about outside the big two.... La Liga lost a lot of quality forwards this summer.

Costa works hard and is difficult to play against, but lets be real he is very very limited.

His goal return isn't all that either especially considering he takes penalties.

If you want to talk about quality forwards outside the big two talk about Carlos Vela someone who actually has plentiful of ability.

Extremely limited? like i said, if you call him limited, then the same applies to the likes of Falcao, Cavani, Higuain and so on.

Falcao, Cavani and Higuain make up for that in goals.

Besides Falcao aside none of them are as limited as Costa is.

You are very wrong about him mole, he is not like that at all. He has good skills on the ball, like Gil said, he is not as fluid as a RVP, but he is dece;tively good and effiicient.

So far, 4 games, 4 goals, and very good performances. He is enabling Villa and Atletico's attack, as he did last season. Obviously he has a lot to prove, i am merely making a projection. just watch him

I thought he was older than 24. Before finding that out I was going to point out his good start to the season at Vallaolid, after which he tapered off and didn't score a single goal for about 7 months...but I don't know. Simeone does a good job with his forwards, so maybe he can break out this year.

I think 20 is a reasonable reach.

All I want to say is hes got his strengths but also his weaknesses. But yea hes decent to watch, not the classy talented type, but interesting combo of bulldozer and a all round decent player.
