Also Barrett and Pearce denying things is not exactly surprising, local reporters often say the things which the club fans in question want to hear.

Not saying it isn't true but it wouldn't be the first time a local paper lied for the good of positive PR.

I understand the reasoning but the comparison with Bale basically depends on the fact that we are talking about same club , the Real Madrid , who bought just a year ago the best player of EPL
so the comparison is instantaneous and not so far

Bale played for a club that had to sell to buy and didnt have CL football.

We have neither of these concerns and Suarez is comfortably better than Bale from our POV.Our profile way more than Spurs as well.Suarez is already on 200k unlike Bale.

So unless there is a clear cut Buy out clause we will ofcourse demand way more than Bale money.

sounds to me like they are your club mouthpiece. if the club say jump, they jump, or they get their privileges revoked. do you ever second guess them?

i am not a specialist at all, i am just giving my opinion. Suarez wanted to go, you guys forced him to stay. you gave him a new deal to make peace, but he and his agent negotiate a clear, written way out of the club, to avoid the debacle that happened the summer before. It's less than a 100 mil, and if barca or madrid activate it, you guys have no way to stop it. but of course both clubs would negotiate instead of just throwing cash at you.

This is what makes sense to me, it's my opinion, you are entitled to disagree with me i dont care. would he leave pool? i dont know, i dont care from my end since madrid dont need him. Barca however, just curious how they will engineer their next fck up.

They are the Local daily that is very reliable about both Liverpool and Everton.

ANd i dont remember the last time they got anything wrong regarding Liverpool transfers both in and out.Honestly they are more reliable for Liverpool news than BBC

Yeah just one summer ago 80m would have been out of this ****ing world for Suarez. Liverpool were considering letting him go for 50.

The bale transfer did change the perspective on the market, but the market for those kinds of transfers is really shallow. Really other than Madrid and PSG, no one is going to even consider spending that much on one player. Not even for a second. Even Manchester city with all their money have never spent more than 40.

I don't think he'll leave though tbh. I think Madrid will just stick with Benzema and after that no one else is going to even try to activate that clause, if it is in fact 80m. Could be more, as I remember many reports saying it would be 70 or 80 if they didn't make the CL, but over 100 if they did.
