They arent, they have Simeone, extraordinary leadership. And they have the confidence of being a top team now. Think about spurs for example, good players, but losers. so they lose and got clowned by most teams. Atletico? good players, but winners. So they dominate even the game starts.

As long as they dont lose too much in midfield, it's ok. A guy like Tiago for example, should absolutely stay, same as Koke. Luis and Costa? replacable with a bit of smart.

It comes down to replacing Costa for Atleti... they don't work without a very good scorer on top.

Vela is a killer ball master and can score enough. If we're giving Morata to Arsenal for Vela, i think it's a steal...

Would be a dumb move for Vela; as far as playting time. He would go from being the star of his club to being like the next Callejon on Real Madrid. Even then they have Jese for that (I know he's injured but will be back before years end). Hope he goes elsewhere tbh, even Arsenal would better

they just sign costa for 39 millions, they are not getting Luis for less than 20 millions. so 60 mil ball park, still, good business.

A number of Bundesliga clubs and Middle East teams have joined chase for free agent Joleon Lescott, according to Sky sources.

Several Premier League sides have expressed interest in the former Manchester City defender but he has also options abroad, with German outfit Schalke and Al Ain in the UAE keen on him too.

Lescott joined City from Everton for £22million in August 2009 - and made 92 Premier League appearances, scoring seven goals.

A source close to the player told Sky Sports: "Joleon is in no rush to make a decision over his future and is considering all options available to him.

"He will decide what is the best option for his career and his family."

Oh come now, let's not pretend that other nations' rags and papers are any more reliable or less prone to hyperbole in the transfer windows than the English press. It's a continent-wide problem.
