Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
A few reports in Germany that Garay from Benfica is about to join us for 15m €.
However, they're all refering to a Argentinian daily, 'Clarin', doesn't seem like they have information from the club yet.
Hmm. If true, no Benatia or any of the other perpetual names.
What's the GL verdict on Garay?

QPR should ask at least £20m.
He has a clause in the range of 6-8m.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Sky Sports News understands that Cesc Fabregas is set to leave Barcelona this summer, with a return to the Premier League his preferred option.
Barcelona are willing to sell the Spain midfielder as he does not figure in their plans for next season.
It is understood that Fabregas has a £30million release clause written into his contract.
The 27-year-old is expected to interest a number of top Premier League teams, including his former club Arsenal.
Manchester United could be another destination following the attempts of executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward to sign him last summer.
Fabregas signed a five-year contract at Barcelona in 2011, the club from which Arsenal snared him as a 16-year-old, describing the move back home as the "greatest challenge of his life".

I don't think buying good center-backs is as difficult as, say, buying good strikers or wingers, and I'd fancy Roma's chances to find a good replacement and still have plenty of money left to spend on other areas.
€40m well spent >>> keeping Benatia, imo.
Since when did the fans sell the players?

Just a recycled story from past windows, I wouldn't put any stock in it.che wrote:apparently liverpool are interested in keita? *bleep* off, we brought him back from china, he's ours
There was only ever one story linking us with Adriano and (shock and awe) I believe it originated from Talksport. Never anything in it.McLewis wrote:Speaking of Liverpool.....Liverpool looked to have missed out on the signing of Brazilian defender Adriano after reports in Italy claimed he has agreed a deal to join Roma.
Brendan Rodgers has been linked with a move for the Barcelona full-back as he looks to strengthen his backline and bring in more quality signings as the Merseyside club prepare for life back in the Champions League next season.
But he will have to switch his attentions elsewhere as Italian TV broadcaster Mediaset is reporting that Roma have agreed an £8m move to sign the 29-year-old and could even unveil him on Monday.
Roma are also back in the Champions League next season and coach Rudi Garcia hopes the addition of Adriano can make them a force to be reckoned with.

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini says they need at least €60m for Benatia and they are also interested in Iturbe.
Sabatini told a press conference: "Benatia is a great footballer with a contract that expires in four years.
"He is not for sale.
"I believe that Mehdi has been influenced by his agent (Moussa) Sissoko. He speaks of (a price of) €30m (£24.4m), so we need at least 60, maybe even 61. Anyone who wants Benatia will have to pay €61m (£49.6m)."
While ruling out an exit for Benatia, Sabatini has revealed that long-serving Brazilian Rodrigo Taddei is to leave the club and that interest is being shown in Hellas Verona winger Juan Iturbe.
He added: "We are interested in Iturbe and I've already met one of his agents. We're following him but it is a complex negotiation.
"Taddei? We think he's finished his time at Roma. This choice pains me, but I thank him for what he has done for Roma."

Re: 2014 Summer Transfer Rumours Mk. III
So are Atleti and Southampton the two teams getting raped the hardest this transfer window?
Southampton probably going to lose Lambert (Liverpool), Lovren, Shaw, Lallana and even Osvaldo even though he's as good as gone anyway
Atletico probably going to lose Villa (NYFC), Tiago (Chelsea), Felipe Luis (Chelsea), Costa (Chelsea), Courtois (Chelsea), Diego (rumored to join Fenerbahçe), Jose Sosa (FC Metalist Kharkiv loan ends) and both Miranda and Koke rumored to Barcelona even though I doubt those rumors hold much weight.
