England out
Italy out
Ivory Coast out
All the sides I was intending to support should the US go out are out themselves

Re: Chelsea at Brazil – 2014 FIFA World Cup Thread
Gotta say, never thought I'd see both England and Italy out in group stages.
Then again, thought Spain would go through, as well.
I guess the Euros aren't a good way of predicting the teams to do well in the WC

With the possible exception of the Dutch, none of the 'big' sides have been all that impressive thus far. It's shaping up to be quite a tournament.

Yeah, reminds me of the PL, none of the big teams seem to want to win it.

Seems to be like an epidemic throughout the world game this year. Even in the Champions League, none of the favoured sides looked consistently good throughout. Makes things more interesting, even if it is highly likely one of the big sides will end up winning it in the end anyway.

Yeah, I think Germany or France will win it. Maybe Brazil if they stop relying on Neymar so much.

If tournament favourites US fall short, I can see the Dutch doing it

So Shed, Still think RVP is the biggest knob of a Football player?
Suarez has to take that title.

haha congrats on making it out when no one gave you guys a chance
Belgium has gone through as well. I've been supporting them throughout but they don't look as if they could go to the next round though

Germany through.
Hazard is going to shut Shed up when he scores a hattrick to see USA knocked out.

The useless git couldn't even score a single goal against any of Russia, Algeria or South Korea - a trio as laughable as any you could think of.
Fabian Johnson will have him in his back pocket ffs

Since you posted that. Here is what Marc Wilmots said about it:
http://weaintgotnohistory.sbnation.com/2014/6/27/5848088/romelu-lukaku-apologized-for-his-post-substitution-tantrum-on-sunday"Neither Romelu nor myself were happy with the game he had and his reaction. He has apologised and for me that is the end of the story. I don't look back -- I look at the future. That is what interests me. Romelu trained well yesterday and looked happy. Every player wants to show himself in a World Cup but it is not going to change your life."

Schurrle scores the first goal in Germany's 2 1 win over Algeria.
He changed the game for Germany. They face France in the quarters, who knocked out Nigeria.

Superb finish from him (though I'm not exactly sure he knew all that much about it )
