Party time
The only team I didn't want to win from the semi's was Holland, now they can't
I don't care who wins now.

I did, I hate people using the excuse that he isn't one of the best because he never won a WC.
However, he has been so poor at times, I am not sure I want to give him that pleasure.
But as a neutral, I honestly don't care who wins.

Re: Chelsea at Brazil – 2014 FIFA World Cup Thread
To me, if he had kept his form of 2 years ago. He would be up there with Pele and Maradonna.
Recently he has been very lacklustre which has frustrated me (and everyone else) so I will refrain from putting him in that bracket yet.
If he returns to that form to end his career + a WC, he could end up there again.
He has the ability, I mean, name the last player that could change a game as well as Messi can. I think the last guy who could was Maradonna.
Then again, I have been a Messi fan for a while

Whats wrong with that?
I'd say my close relationship with Messi has stopped him scoring against us
Seriously though, he is the kind of player that you can't help but admire for his ability.

Better than Ronaldo or Suarez, who are probably the other best players in the world.
Plus, on his day, he is unplayable.

Re: Chelsea at Brazil – 2014 FIFA World Cup Thread
A horribly arrogant, self entitled, thuggish, vain set of brats
Personified by David Luiz, the ultimate preening, twat of a footballer. Everything has to be about him. Whether it's hijacking James Rodriguez at full time, hugging and pointing at him. Whether it's the laughable roaring of the anthem. The prayers out on the pitch before and after the games. Standing in the centre circle hugging Thiago Silva. Holding a Neymar shirt during today's anthem. The bloke is a fecking tool. Booing Fred was ridiculous - Luiz, the clown, will escape proper scrutiny in Brazil because they lap his nonsense up
On one of the goals he can be seen almost on the half way line holding his hands up in exasperation as Germany tore through them yet again. Sums him up.
-
Seen this on another site. Basically sums up my feelings about Luiz to a tee.

He was terrible at that game and he can be really inconsistent during his time with us BUT, his personality and humor were the reason why he got loved by most supporters.

Wow, such hate.
Sure, he is eccentric but he is the most kind hearted guy you will meet, not like other disliked players *cough* Suarez *cough*.
