Re: World Cup 14 Squads Discussion
Anyway France are overrated. A team built to play on the counter with no Plan B at all. Wouldn't be surprised if they went out in the group stages yet again. They shouldn't even be in the tournament in the first place in recollection.

Re: World Cup 14 Squads Discussion
I said something relevant.
Ribery has won multiple leagues, CL, key player to first treble in German history, Uefa player of the year for last year.
Where's Hazards honors? Finishing 3rd in PL is his highlight lmao.

Van Der Wiel had told Van Gaal he couldn't play the WC. He has a knee that's been bothering him for months and he can't play anymore until he gets surgery (it would get worse by playing). He tested it at the end of the season and it continued to degenerate. There's a mystery explained at least.

Yeah, could be really good, Lovren also had a good season and if Srna is still playing like he was a few months ago then they'll have an exciting team.

Re: World Cup 14 Squads Discussion
Preliminary Germany Squad Update:
Goal: Neuer, Weidenfeller, Zieler
Defense: Durm, Boateng, Großkreutz, Höwedes, Hummels, Lahm, Mertesacker, Mustafi, Schmelzer
Midfield: Lars Bender, Draxler, Ginter, Götze, Khedira, Kramer, Kroos, Thomas Müller, Özil, Podolski, Reus, Schürrle, Schweinsteiger
Attack: Klose, Volland
Leon Goretzka, Marcell Jansen, and Max Meyer will be waiting on the wings and don't go to the training camp of the NT. André Hahn was taken out of the squad completely, while Christoph Kramer was added freshly to the squad.

Re: World Cup 14 Squads Discussion
Liked what I saw last night from Kramer last, good addition.
Surprised Hahn is not in the squad anymore, would have him over Draxler.

Very unblanced. That midfield would get raped in defence.
Though I agree that the squad is good. They should walk to last 16. Will be really surprised if they don't finish 2nd.
