Milan takeover bids rumors etc
I know some already posted the latest rumors considering bids on our club in the transfers thread, but I think this is of great interest to many of us so it deserved a thread of its own.
So here we go...
From Gazzetta 24/4
Milan: Offer for 500m - From Singapore, Lim launches a bid while China’s second richest man, Zong Quinghou, is also interested.
Like some pointed out, Lim perhaps wouldnt take us any further than we alrdy are, as he aint really that rich. Chinas second richest man, now its getting interesting. But ofc this is all just endless rumors for now, made to keep our hopes and dreams of glory alive:)

Re: Milan takeover bids rumors etc
AC Milan chiefs have reiterated that the club is not for sale, despite rumours of a takeover by Singapore businessman Peter Lim.
Italian media claimed on Thursday that the billionaire investor had offered €500million for a majority stake of the San Siro outfit.
As well as Lim, reports claim that Chinese beverage magnate Zong Qinghou is also eyeing a potential takeover.
However, Fininvest - controlled by Milan chairman Silvio Berlusconi - have issued a denial and insisted there will be no control in ownership, having previously also moved to quell the rumours in March.
A statement read: "With regard to rumours reported by the press, Fininvest again denies any possibility of transfer of control of Milan."

I hope we sell some of the shares to Zong Qinghou. He is the richest man in China and there is a possibility that he would invest into the team.

I doubt this is ever going to happen, at least not until Berlusconi is there. These rumors have always been there, but nothing ever materializes.

They don't want to sell but they don't want to invest anymore. Without investment we are never gonna win anything again and they will just lose money. I don't see any logic in their way of thinking.

Even if a takeover was possible, i'd rather we pass the torch to someone who's able and willing to manage the club efficiently and effectively
