When you play Mourinho-ball, as long as you keep delivering trophies and results, the owner and fans don't mind...but once they dry up, you have ZILCH to fall back on.

It's amazing he has the audicity to complain about lack of attacking options, when he ostracized and sold Mata, and loaned Lukaku is amazing.

Chelsea finished 3rd in PL last season, and won a cup. Since then, Mou has come in, spend another 110M and is likely to finish 3rd again (barring an amazing collapse by both City and Liverpool) and no trophy to show, while playing god awful football.

Mourinho plays the percentage game. He relies on mistakes and not courage. It's a massive shame that a once in a year slip gifted him all the wankfest and glory on Sunday, but at least justice is done today. He won't even get to CL semis next season. Someone take this bet on the betting thread for me.

I used to be a Madrid-distaster....but my respect for the club and Blancos went 10fold higher when seeing they found out Mourinho for the charlatan who truly is. Now Madrid is almost like a second club. Shows Madrid have a very intelligent fan base

Loool! Love this... although I hate Mou so much too, he at least deserves some credit for this year. But yes glad this game really showed his weakness. I especially love how Simone plays the same type of game but better and beating Mou's own park the bus

and anyway the same Atletico Madrid learn us as some excuses must be avoided by Napoletani . Napoli sold his best player but it got Higuain ( for me there is not so difference with Cavani,or better still I prefer Higgy) , Callejon and Mertens.  Atletico Madrid sold his best player, replaced with nothing but it made definitely better  than last year.
