Nope. He didn't do a lot. Lichtsteiner managed to get through him most of the time.

Well, if you look at it, the best gMes that were plYed in the champions league were against real madrid despite that we didnt win. We were unlucky vs them tbh.

And madrid the only team that we played 433 against.

Marchisio is probably the best Midfilder we have at the moment...
He doesn't have to score to prove his worth...& was clearly the best player on the field!

It's not one or the other, they go hand in hand

We can't have an attacking philosophy in a 3-5-2 because that formation deploys no attacking mids, no wingers and an extra CB, so we'd essentially see our defenders try to do an attackers job

So, no playmakers = less creativity

no wingers = no genuine wide play, no counter attacking threat and no quality crosses.
