Italy or an Italian team needs to host a big footy event soon. Seems like UEFA is ignoring Serie A's well-being for whatever reason...
No offense to Portugal, but Italy's Serie A is much more important.

At least Porto's stadium is good in every way, unlike most Italian stadiums. San Siro is pretty much only stadium in whole Italy that is good enough for CL final, unless you want finals to be held in stadium with racing tracks...sportsczy wrote:Italy or an Italian team needs to host a big footy event soon. You can give an event under the condition that renovations are made for the event... it's a good way actually.

True but one CL final alone won't be enough to fund whole renovation and Italian teams doesn't seem to have a lot of cast to throw around, not at least to make a proper renovation. Well, maybe Roma if new owners feels generous but no one else.

It's a great step, I mean the stadium is brand new. Give it time and it will surely be expanded, anyways.

It's Italian clubs faults really. Hopefully more clubs will soon have their own stadiums which are purely for football then Italy can host a major final/tournament.
I hope Juve extend their capacity in a couple of seasons time. The stadium is magnificent but too small for CL finals.

Italy hosted the 2009 CL final... don't see how Italy are being mistreated at all.
