I can't remember what games they played together this season but I remember them being awfully infuriating as a partnership.

There's no quality between them, ones big and tall, the others short and fast. Sounds good but last time I saw it play out they had no chemistry.

I used to be a massive Giovinco fan. Followed him all his career.

I can see why he gets hate, he's very inconsistent but I still kinda like him. He just came close to scoring again.

@Cassius: People dont hate giovinco because he is inconsistent. It's because he tries to be someone he is not. Last season, when Ale left, everyone thought that he would be Ale's heir and everything. They expected a lot from him.

I know it's not even half time yet but I'm going to begin eating my own words about Llorente + Gio now.

They've played okay together.

What I mean by play okay together is that they haven't been getting in each other's way and done fairly well when they have had the ball etc they've both been available for the ball and whatnot. Unlike quags/Matri. Maybe I just have low standards on strikers now after them all being shocking for the good part of 5/6 years

LOLrente thrives for the national team linking up with players like Iniesta, Mata, Silva, Navas and especially Santi Cazorla. For Athletic he linked up superbly with AMs in the form of Susaeta, De Marcos, and Iker Muniain.

What do they all have in common with Giovinco? All quick, agile, technical and creative just like the Atomic Ant.

LOLrente doesn't work with Vucinic since they perform the same roles, Osvaldo simply because both work better with someone off them while Tevez is too zealous and almost devoid of on the ball IQ to link up continually with Llorente.

As for the midfield LOLrente works best with Marchisio as their understanding with each other is excellent. Best performer has to be Giovinco from the bunch. Confidence has been excellent since the wonderful curler.

Oh C'mon! He doesn't work well with tevez? All the link up and all the goals and assists and you say that? They scored like 30 goals together.

I haven't seen anything from llorente-giovinco together today even though i agree with your point on having fast a skillfull players with lolrente.

Well, yes he has been inconsistent, and we really did expect from him something big after his prime days in Parma.

Twice today ogbonna has been done over by divers and the ref.. Now he's yellowed lol
