Who was our best player this season
Season reflection
The end of the season is near and I thought of making this thread as a reflection of the team.. So, who impressed you the most? Who is your fan favorite? Underperformed? Best goal? Bedt game? Worst game?

Re: Season reflection
Definitely Vidal IMO.
Even though he's not been in the best of form the last 3-4 games he's still been our most consistent and crucial player in both defence and attack again this year.
Flop of the season is once again Isla, hopefully he's used in a part exchange or we sell out half outright.

Re: Season reflection
Tevez has done well, but he could have done a lot better.
Can't complain though.

Re: Season reflection
1. Vidal - Our most consistent, important player. Had a rough last couple of weeks but I think thats down to exhaustion.
2. Tevez - Joint Top Scorer in Serie A, and torn alot of defenses to shreds, but misses out on #1 because he somewhat flopped in the Champions League.
3. Marchisio - If he performed the way he has the last 2-3 months over the course of the whole season, hed be #1. But early in the season his form was very erratic.
(Why did they miss out)
-Buffon: I think he would make the Top 5, but he has made a few mistakes. Its normal, everyones human, but Gigi at his best is Superman. He gets in the Top 3 when he performs his best.
-Barzagli: Been excellent when hes played, but has been injured for so long that he shouldnt be qualified for the Top 3.
-Bonucci: Has had moments of absolute brilliance, and then major brainfart moments.
-Chiellini: Would also be in my Top 5, but has also been injured a bit too much, though not nearly as much as Barzagli. Still, enough that it knocks him out of the Top 3 because we havent been able to rely on him.
-Caceres: Has performed great in Barzaglis place, but has simply not been good enough, especially in his positioning.
-Lichsteiner: A fighter, but been out injured alot and inconsistent on the pitch.
-Pirlo: Has been sensational with his free kicks but outside od that has been below par. In particular he loses the ball far too often in our own half which is down to arrogance and being too slow finding a pass.
-Pogba: Was great in the first half of the season, butnin the second half of the season really fell off thanks to exhaustion and simply being off form it seems.
-Asamoah: Would be right outside the Top 5, but has just been too predictable sometimes and therefore is sometimes shut down too easily.
-Llorente: Would also be just outside of the Top 5, but has had rough patches here and there. Still, im very happy to finally have two great strikers again for the first time in a long time and I believe he still has room to improve and then will be our surefire starter and we wont need a target man anymore.
