How come? By far my favourite MCU movie with IM1 and Avengers after.

i liked it, got tired of the cheesiness of the Marvel movies, they needed a serious thriller

Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Superhero movies always play out in the same fashion. First few moments we see a good fighting scene, then a problem arises - a villain or a group of businessmen comes into town and tries to take over the world, and then the superhero puts a stop to all of it at the end. With superhero movies you pretty much know that that's how it's going to go, so its left up to the plot, visuals and action scenes to make something out of the movie. And The Winter Soldier did a pretty decent job at that.
It started off very good imo, and I thought ahh we're in for a 8+ rated movie over here. But as it went on, it got just a bit more predictable and clichèd. At the end I got a feel that I was watching the end of Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol again. It got so many good reviews and many said that it was a very good thriller, and so I was waiting for more dark and intense scenes but it was more action, so I was let down a bit by that, but not so much surprised because it is a superhero movie after all and not Chris Nolan behind the camera.
IMO, it was just as good as The First Avenger, and I might quite have enjoyed the first instalment a bit more than this one. But still a good, action packed movie.
My rating: 7.7/10

Re: The Movie House - Part 4
Walked over to the movie theater near me and saw Guardians of the Galaxy. Good flick. Movie theaters have gotten even more expensive these days. 30 bucks just for myself FFS.
About the movie though, love the banter and dialogue obviously. Just liked the style of the movie itself. Heard someone in the theater call this the "Spiritual successor to Star Wars"...an apt comparison imo though at times it really reminded me of Firefly.
Having not read the comics this is based on, but knowing of the races involved from reading other Marvel comics, I think I'll be starting this one. Lotsa stuff I have questions about.

Where are you gonna where you paid 30 bucks... Even at an AMC theater which are expensive i never spend more then 20 (~$12 ticket, rest food (hide some in)) , and my Local Theater only charges $8 (or $6.5 for students) and lucky they have Nathan's inside

It was an AMC as well. It was after 4 though and only the 3D wasn't sold out so yeah. 15 bucks for the ticket, another 15 for concessions.

Just now realized that there was a SECOND post credit scene in Captain America: Winter Soldier
- Spoiler:
- This means Steve Rodgers could die and Bucky(Winter Soldier) become the new Captain America
