Re: El Clasico: Real Madrid vs Barcelona discussion
Marca are reporting that Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema will be fit to face Barcelona in Sunday’s Clasico at the Bernabeu.
There had been fears that the player would not make it after he picked up a knock at La Rosaleda last Saturday against Malaga.
However, it now appears the 26-year-old has made a full recovery and will take his place in Los Blancos’ line-up.
The news comes as a welcome boost for Coach Carlo Ancelotti, who saw his attacking options stretched slightly after watching Jese Rodriguez pick up a serious injury on Tuesday.

Though, as always, if I was running the team he'd be gone in heartbeat
After that, you wouldn't be running the team anymore

However I have a strong belief that Madrid will comfortably win this. They are a better team and their form is excellent.

On a personal level, I never can't get how anyone can cheer both RM and Barcelona. Their philosophies and mindset are so different at all levels (including upper management). It's always alien to see it so good for RG I reckon...

Doc, I feel as though that's a recent divergence, post-Perez. I find alot of parallels between Madrid and Barca historically.
Though I agree it's one or the other, not both.

Is this the most overplayed top-flight game ever?

How is it over hyped? It's a pretty big deal, not just on football level (winner likely edges closer to the title) but on personnel level for the parties of said clubs (Catalans vs Madrid etc).
Anyways, I've been giving this game some thought and I could see it ending in a draw.
Messi, Cesc
CR7 double

Win for Madrid ends the season really, somehow I see Barca winning this game with some controversy (we haven't had one in a while, so I hope something happens). we need that drama

He's coaching Bayern, so factually he is still a coach. Although I do admit coaching Bayern in Bundesliga could be deemed taking another sabbatical year.

Ask Bayern to "borrow" Pep for this Clasico I reckon. Not like they totally need him considering he had the league wrapped up since January.
