Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
I keep staying up until 3 AM. I hate this. I need to fix this.
I prefer going to bed at 12 or 1 and getting up at like 8 or 9 than going to bed at 3 and getting up at 10:30

Todd Carney

For the foreigners, Todd's highlight reel include getting fired from three different nrl clubs, setting his friend on fire, engaging in high speed police chases whilst being disqualified from driving, being banned from his home town due to continued drunken misbehavior and that's just scratching the surface

Mark Schwarzer wrote:"All I can say is that he did ask me about Melbourne Heart. He did ask me what Melbourne was like and what Melbourne Heart was like," Schwarzer said, as reported by the Mirror.
"I said Sydney was the best place to live. But I spoke very highly of Melbourne. I actually love Melbourne. It's a great city. I told him how passionate in particular the Victorians are with their sport.

The Danes certainly love it.
By the way, my mexican friends, what do you think of Mexico's exit from the WC? devastated? It is harder or easier to swallow than Fullham's relegation?

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
Pretty devastated yeah, went from rooting for Netherlands because of RVP last World Cup to rooting against them because of RVP this World Cup .
Actually didn't see much of the quarters, it's a real struggle to get up so early now that I'm at home again.

Re: The Official Talk About Whatever Thread
I have a TV in my room, but my cable is being ridiculous and the channel all of the games are on isn't working for me. I now must watch all games in the living room and deal with incessant questions from my mom during every game
'Why isn't the net smaller? The goalie has no chance!'
'Why are there offsides?'
'What happens if nobody scores?'
'How is that a foul?'
'How is that not a foul?'
'Does this mean there is going to be a penalty?'
'*Team A* (which has been dominated all game but for the 10 seconds she has watched) is so much better than *Team B* eh?'
'Who scored?', to which the subsequent comment is always the same: 'Oh, I don't know who that is.'
