I think that they wanted to defend rather than being tired. The biggest evidence is that Montella subbed out Gomez on minute 90 to rest him, because he thought the Viola already won the match.

Actually, I think he also came on as a sub against Chievo. I couldn't catch the whole game because I was still at school, but I started watching at around the 60th minute. I thought Pirlo's goal was amazing and after that he reminded me of his old self a bit with his passes to the wings, and he didn't seem like he lost the ball as much or at all. I think Tevez was also good, but again he couldn't finish one of his chances that I saw. Llorente was doing nice with the hold up play from what I saw and he had some chances, I think he needs to shoot more with his left, it wasn't bad when he played for Bilbao, but it seems like now he's trying to cut to his right too much. Also, Isla has really improved in my opinion, and some of his crosses were actually nice and it seemed like he wasn't afraid to take on his man anymore, I would start him against Catania this Sunday. I'm so happy that we won, now I hope we win Serie A and the Europa League this year. Btw, does anyone know where I can watch full highlights, by that I mean not just the goals, but highlights of the good plays/good chances too.

I agree with you gigi...I think we changed our sttle a little bit today. We weren't so predictable as always, with different passes and runs. Llorente needs to shoot more lol and I think that tevez has been jinxed in europe lol... the last time he scored in europe was like 4-5 years ago in utd.
