Again; you seem to be completely missing the point here. We, England, have large participation in a wide variety of sports and we generally excel at them. We may not be the best at every single one, that's an incredibly difficult feat, but we can hold our heads up and say we provide world class participants to a range of popular global sports.
which is of course as opposed to germany and its ~1500 olympic medals?
plus as far as i can tell the "range of popular global sports" is limited to three sports that are popular in 4 countries
Yet another completely ignorant anti-English troll.

Except there is. Football isn't the only sport played in England, we have great interest elsewhere in others.
pls, you lot are useless at every sport you play other then football
strong words coming from someone from malta, a country that most here won't even be able to locate on a map , let alone name one of their athletes.
let's take a look at the 2012 medal table :
see that little country at number 3 ? that's mostly england
' sports " go beyond stick and ball games.there is also this thing called boxing for example , a sport where england has the 4th highest number of top 10 ranked contenders in the world....

Third best RL side becuase there are only three countries who play it Fiji is 5th and the Fijian national side is made up of Australians and NZers who cant arent good enough to play for Aus/NZ now/anymore but still want to play internationaly, same deal for all those Island countires and Italy too
I dont know if your a rugby league fan or not, but if you are then you would know theres a huge drop in quality from Aus and NZ down to England and then an even bigger drop down to Fiji and co. Even the superleague shows that, its full of old NRL players looking for a final pay day and all the top superleague players go to the NRL to test themseves at the top level eg Burgess x4, Graham, Tomkins etc
Same sort of logic can be applies to RU, theres quite a gulf in class between Aus, NZ, SA and Eng compared to the rest of the nations, (the British and Irish Lions team are top top quality though)
And youve got a good ranking in cricket now, but that team is sliding down hill fast, and again outside the top few, theres not too many great cricketing nations

La Liga is walking the coefficients yet again.
La Liga: 93.284
Premier League: 84.034
Bundesliga: 80.784
Serie A: 65.938
Portuguese League: 60.299
Ligue 1: 56.166
Fss. GOAT Liga. Already collected more points this season than the entire last season and there are still 3 teams active in the CL quarters and 2 teams in the EL quarters. Going to be historic for La Liga.

Great Britain when they need Murray to win them a tennis grand slam, England when they can hold their own.
Claiming 3rd rank in the RL, 4th in RU and 4th best cricket side.
hahahaha sports with only 2-5 competitive teams rofl.
