Alonso going down despite having his best season at Real Madrid last year.

Also Boateng did nothing impressive last season to go up to 85 imo.

Barzagli was an 85 after his first full season with us. His 2nd season was pretty much 100% identical in every way, got knocked down to an 84.

Pirlo a CM and Alonso a CDM, even though they play in the same position. Also Alonso with medium attack, when in real life he rarely ever attacks.

you play games and tournaments and seasons against other people, you have a money balance, you earn coins depending on wins, promotions, etc, and you buy player packs filled with random stuff, and can assemble your 'ultimate team' filled with any players. there's a marketplace where you can sell them to others and buy them too, plus position change cards, formations, etc.

you can also buy packs for real money, which is usually the only way to get players like ronaldo and messi since their pack weight is so low.

you can customize anything in your team, set pieces, squad numbers, captain, formations, etc.
