I've liked what I've seen from Poli since coming on, far more effectual than Muntari, energetic in defence and involved in attack.

His stunning goal seems to have woken Balotelli up as well.

Just came home and rather disgusted with myself in missing this match.

So far I have understood from here:

-Sulley Ali Muntari is what we missed after Xavi's mother vetoed his move to Milan.

-Taarabt is closer to become the best player in the world

-Mario Balotelli is actually arsed about performing for Milan, goal notwithstanding.

-Poli, who strangely has been ostracized is what we need in this semantic.

-Fat Father Tom is bitter after a poor day's hunt for roadkill.

-We didn't have a convincing performance.

Poli can be our Koke. He fits the RAM perfectly; his movement can open up a lot of spaces for Balo. The problem with Balo is that he is a static striker, he doesn't depend on positioning; this is why Balo needs players like El Shaarawy and Pazzini who open up spaces for him and allow him to utilize his ability.

Also, I would just like to add that Taarabt's potential is amazing. If he continues with performances like these, he will be very close to the top. The guy has Zidane-esque potential. Seedorf might be the one that will help him take the next step.

Rami is great thank god we have a decent defender...now to offload the rest and bring in someone to partner him.

Montolivo was great today I hope he carries on his form.

Kaka needs to GTFO I don't care what he HAS done for us because he is tarnishing that image right now.

MDS plays better on the left and should be put back there because we have no decent left back other than him

Honda deserves to be played centrally I feel bad for him being isolated on that wing.

PAZZO is PAZZO seriously love this guy and I can't explain why.

I think people are slowly being converted to the idea that Balo needs Pazzo on the field to create space for him.

I don't believe it's the only way to get the best out of Balotelli, as I feel that he also works well with two wide threats flanking him, however in the absence of such an option within the squad as of now, Pazzini is certainly the most viable tactical alternative in order to free him of the attention of the defence.

If we are to alter the team to help Balotelli, Balotelli also has to alter to help the team and that means defending should he not be playing up top. Allegri often asked Pazzini to drop deeper than Balo whilst we were defending, however it's time for Mario to put in his own shift.

I think that maybe it's time for Honda to be moved centrally at the expense of Kaka. Saponara is another option who should be given at least a couple of starts in the remainder of this season.

Also, for what it's worth, even Zaccardo is better than Zapata.

Mario Balotelli says it is his "duty" to lead AC Milan after his wonder goal earned a 1-0 victory over Serie A strugglers Bologna.

In a match devoid of clear-cut chances, the Italy international wowed the home fans at San Siro with a stunning 35-yard effort that flew into the top corner in the 86th minute.

"I looked at the goalkeeper and saw he was a little off his line, so I hit it with full force and fortunately it went in," Balotelli told Sky Sport Italia.

"It's a good goal. The coach gives me confidence, as I am the one who has to pull the team forward and therefore it's my duty to score these goals.
