It's unfair to compare at the moment Ozil's assist stats with Silva's. The Spaniard has in front of him the best striker in the league not that scrub Giroud. Ozil was an assist machine with Ronaldo....

Issue was never Yaya holding his hand it was replacing Yaya with Fernando Laughing

and Nasri being out 3 weeks. Replace and offensive player like Yaya to a scrub of course there will be a drop off. Prime example was against Arsenal, they maked Silva out of the game. They forced us wide and crowd the middle, simple as it gets. No other creative play besides where in the crowd can Navas cross the ball to.

Replace Silva with Ozil/Messi/whoever not sure if the outcome would have been different. Should have tried Milner in the CM and played Jovetic instead of Fernando.

But imagine 90 min a game Silva behind Ronaldo and Benzema Shocked

Could have stat padded more in those 20 extra minutes a game.

Don't understand at all this GL obsession with comparisons and definitive rankings.
It's always the same obnoxious discussions.

Why can only one of Özil, Silva be 'top class', 'world class', or whatever you want to call them.
Why does it always have to be either/or, if you rate one that automatically includes talking down the other one.
Makes no sense. Both great players which obviously not always are at their best, have their strenghts and weeaknesses. What's wrong with taking that position and leaving it there.

@Valkyrja... as a former partier, i can tell you that it only catches up to you after you do it for a while (meaning months or year depending on the person). Alcohol and lack of sleep will wear you down no matter who you are.

I just posted the pics that i enjoyed the most just to share with the board. I followed him on Twitter and it was a riot Laughing

More power to him. Some guys parties like champs and were still dominant (Maradona, Dinho, etc.). Problem is that these types burn out quickly as the lifestyle catches up... i hope Ozil turned the corner and changed himself. Would be a shame if he didn't.

Not exactly sure what's funny about that statement. Silva isn't much of a big game player. It's usually either Yaya, Kun or even Nasri that do the business against the top clubs. Let's not forget how shit he's always been in the CL for nearly 4 years now.

Nasri's performance against Roma to take them through is a bigger moment than anything Silva has done in his City career.

Ozil is inconsistent but silva is vastly overrated. There's a reason we got ozil and not silva. Even when ozil had his bad form he's just as good as silva

I stand by what I said. But silva is taking 100% of his potential into action, while ozil stays in first gear in a ferrari. I'm all for having fun and letting loose, but this is ridiculous. Ozil has ruined his career by partying and lack of fitness. Makes ronaldinho look like a nun
