Best away support in England
What other team in the prem can generate this kind of noise levels? Outsung the "famous Brittainia atmosphere". "Only one Darren Fletcher" at the end gave me goosebumps.

Re: Best away support in England
Under Fergie, we won't very vocal, especially at Old Trafford, away we were better. Fergie said we were vocal when it mattered, but I think we could still have been much better.
Under Moyes, it's been completely different, pretty much every match, the fans have been great. I don't know the attendance of that Stoke match, but it can't be more than a few thousand.

imo Moyes doesn't deserve that with the shet on a stick football and clueless management he's served up to those loyal paying supporters.
They treat SAF as a God and the reason they back him and sing his name is due to fergie telling them to support Moyes. Even though it's clear for all to see that he is not the right man and is out of his depth.

Best away fans defo not Man Utd, although they have the most by default as the majority of them ain't mancs. Hell Stoke probably has more Man U fans then they do Stoke fans that's probably why .

Re: Best away support in England
By best away support, do you mean who sings the loudest or how many supporters travel to away games? Or is a bit of both?!

Threads like these that can't be proven one way or another just turn into a 'My club is the best at .... because I support them' thread.

Who creates more atmosphere- more noise, singing chants non stop. United away fans have been a credit to the club.

Re: Best away support in England
I wonder if someone can find any empirical data on that. I mean, not that I doubt Man Utd away fans aren't supportive, they clearly are but something other than a youtube video to support the claim maybe a bit more helpful.
Else Tom might actually turn out to be right and we all know, whenever a Juve fan is proven right, a kitten dies...

Re: Best away support in England
There are bigger allocations allowed to travelling supporters for cup games. Many supporters can make that sort of noise given the same allocation. Plus, you're 3-0 up; the home fans would have either given up or gone home.
It's great noise, but hardly indicative of anything.

Remind me, do we have a section devoted entirely to that?
Why yes. Yes we do.

Re: Best away support in England
Catch Arsenal on a bad day at Emirates. I'm not sure whether to call it the best away support or worst home support
Re: Best away support in England
Arsenal away support is great, true fans. At Emirate though , it could be very different, quiet & demanding bunch, probably pissed off at ticket price most of the game.
