CB is right, the game is never like this, but yeah it would of ended this way regardless given the relative talent of the teams this year. Only team giving Seattle a run for their money right now would be the Niners.

How is the Superbowl compared to regular season games in terms of commercials? It's been so long since I've watched either but I've got to imagine they make time for all the commercials they can. In that sense, I can understand why some are finding it to be boring, however the Superbowl goes hand in hand with commercials (you'll get people just tuning in just for them). Commercials and stoppages are a big reason I stopped watching as many sports a while back.

See Moto, you're not the only one who rocks Football kits for the fun of it.

or Texans. Momentum is a bitch. Seattle has killed so many teams so early in the game it's ridiculous. If you can hang with them for the first 5 minutes you have a shot at beating them.JespSwe wrote:Motogp69 wrote:CB is right, the game is never like this, but yeah it would of ended this way regardless given the relative talent of the teams this year. Re: Biggest night in handegg
Colts would be losing much worse than this and so would my Patriots.
Dom, the commercials are really bad these days. They make sure that the games last 3 hours at least. Insufferable unless you are at sports bar and can watch every game at once. If you are forced to watch only one game you'd scratch your eyes out due to boredom.

Don't know how the coverage is everywhere else, but in the UK, we get two minutes of actual football, followed by ten minutes of analysis and replays

Re: Biggest night in handegg
I feel that participating in Fantasy Football made me enjoy watching the games more.
But I don't understand how people are judging the sport after one game. It is also humorous to me how little people enjoy a good defense, e.g., Spurs in Basketball, Mourinho in Football . That being said, I've noticed that a lot of my friends who enjoy football root for teams with a solid defense. I also just realized that the new rules might make the defense less exciting to watch (not as many big hits, or so I would think.)
JespSwe, how are you enjoying the game? Had the Seattle defense been fun to watch? Last question, I promise: how is Lynch doing? I believe he is still the running back for Seattle.

oh great great!!! its been superb watching Seattle defense.. they have stuck to their own game, their own status quo. and denver have had no answer. i am actually surprised... i actually thought denver would really bring this game to tightrope..!!
lynch is doing great too. yeah
last year's seattle had some flaws still, but they have polished their defense really well this time.
It was hard to see falcon beat seattle last year.... and i love jessica alba and i didn;t know she is a big fan of Falcon and for that reason i started to hate her hehehehe

Re: Biggest night in handegg
I supported them as a kid, but as I grew older I didn't like the idea of supporting a team just because I was a local. It doesn't help when you have teams like the Knicks, Jets, Mets and so on. My uncle took me to a game at MSG and I just loved the atmosphere. Lundqvist was getting so much love the night I saw them play. The bar sounds awesome though - I'll be sure to purchase a jersey if I'm ever heading your way.

A lot of my information comes from trusted sources (friends), but I am surprised Manning and the offense aren't doing more. Part of me is not shocked because I used to watch Manning disappoint in the playoffs many times before.

manning has really been form of his life. i mean i gotta feeling that the broncos falling like this has got little to do with this. they haven't had concete plans to counter seahawks defense according to my hardcore seahawks friends.
cuz broncos really are devastating in offense when they get it right. i watched their offense in couple games they are really really good.
its my first season watching NFL so i m surprised myself. broncos cant get yards when they need it

Re: Biggest night in handegg
Yeah, I'd like to think the Seattle defense is a big part of the reason the offense has been stifled like this. I'm thinking about watching the game when it's finished so I can actually give some input that is based on the game.
