Let's hope he helps Viola knock out Spurs from the Europa League.

Re: Mohamed Salah
He's doing a Gervinho to the Serie A, another PL reject that thrives there. So far he's got 2 assists and 1 goal, all three decisive ones.

Re: Mohamed Salah
Yet another 2 goals from him as Fiorentina defeat Juve 2-1 on the road in the Coppa Italia first leg. Their first defeat at the Juventus Stadium in just shy of 2 years.

Re: Mohamed Salah
Never doubted for a moment the quality that he has. He is knocking on the door of elite players. Chelsea's loss.
His finishing though and crossing needs working on. If he improves those two areas, he can be the next arjen.

Oh ffs just admit it.

He didn't suit Chelsea, fine. Not every player works for every club.
But he's a good young player with a lot of talent.

Re: Mohamed Salah
He was a bench player at Basel, but you're right, he just didn't suit us.
He has talent, yes, but lets not be blinded by a month of great form.

Re: Mohamed Salah
Form doesn't come out of thin air. He must have this form in him to attain it. It's not that he doesn't suit Chelsea, it's the fact that he hasn't been given enough time to prove himself. It's not enough to say Salah has been handed 7 starts or 10 starts. Different players have different profiles.
Take Cuadrado for example; he has been useless. Yes he will improve but he will still remain mediocre because that is his profile. He cant take over from Willian for example who is proving as the days go by how important he is to the structure of the team.
His (Willian's) finishing is bad, but he links perfectly with Hazard and Costa. I would play him instead of Ramires at the back because of that. Dude has fantastic sense of ball handling; his passing is alright and his dribbling is excellent.
We need multi-talented versatile players, not one dimensional fwds and defenders.
Times have changed and its about time we change if we want to compete at the highest levels.

Re: Mohamed Salah
It slipped by me last week, but Roma have already made Salah's loan deal permanent.

Sorry for the horrible translation, but you get the picture.
So long, Salah. Best of luck with the rest of your career.

Re: Mohamed Salah
What happened with Salah at Chelsea? was he just not fitting or was it a case of one Mourinho's talented victims?
He is insane at Roma these last 2 seasons. I've been expecting his "form" to die out for 2 years now but it seems he is just that dangerous. 24 G+A his first season and 34!! this one.
