I had to take a break away from the game yesterday because my hand was a mess, so much pain, probably from playing Destiny too much . But nah, no idea what caused it.

I have a hand brace on now and can play normally again, but now I'm playing catch up. some people I know have already reached level 26+, gotta hurry up.

PvP rewards are very random, and it's ridiculous how crap players can get so much good gear, but honestly, it's probably for the best, since everyone eventually benefits. PvP is the best bang for buck if you want high level gear, because you'll get loot payouts after the vast majority of your matches.

Rumble is the best PvP mode if you want gear quickly , matches in there don't last longer than 6 minutes.

The best/most reliable way is heroic strike missions. They also sometimes appear as random drops.

Like Thimmy said, you get them from doing Heroic strikes, but PvP is more reliable due to the matches being short and loot being properly scaled to your level. The loot system in PvE is a mess.
