Cornelius
Well your wish has come to fruition Sports as Agger is warming up; maybe replacing Skrtel (hopefully).

Not handling being pressured in the mid at all... thankfully, Cardiff sat back the first half.

Sakho has been defensively responsible (let's get that in) yet has been a whiz from the back with his passes.
Love how he roams down central, calculates his pass and picks the right areas to catalyse the build up. Has improved under pressure with the ball as well.
Tremendous discipline to track back also.

FT 3-1. Suarez brace and Sterling goal. Hendo 2 assists and Suarez 1 assist.
Wonderful match as I covered most of my catch thoughts in the previous page. Skrtel and Glen stood out like sore thumbs in what was a wonderful collective team performance. Luis Suarez with the pressure of the armband and a lucrative new contract showed how much he loves the platform we gave him to lead the team in Gerrard's absence and has done with flying colours.
Henderson with each passing day in Gerrard's injury has taken the reigns of the midfield very well and has proven to be a genius in final thirds in the right conditions. Allen was superb in recycling the play, showing good vision and carrying the ball in excellent areas.
Mackay is a victim by this clown Tan and does not deserved to be sacked. I truly hope this horrible owner leaves as the fans also want Tan out and Mackay to stay.

TOP OF THE LEAGUE
Second half was a worry, but it's clear we had both eyes focused on City away.
We really can't defend set pieces.

We should've conceded at least two pens. F*cking Skrtel is a madman.

Because Skrtel is better defensively out of the two, and Sakho is our best CB.
This was Skrtel's worst performance of the season, no surprise that people are going to attack him...

He did well, but that's not true.
The whole team stopped playing after half time, really.
We had some moments in the second half, but we were definitely getting ready for City away.

Can i add, Cou is absolutely terrible with his shots from distance, he really needs to work on them, as he gets in some really great shooting positions.
Add our whole midfield to that as well, we really need them to start chipping in, that chance sterling missed when he made that great run, should of went around the GK better and finished it, hopefully he irons out his finishing, cause his looking great.

Actually EE is right. Johnson and Raheem on the right were our best weapon in the first half. Breaking that right wing up and bringing Kelly really hurt us in controlling the match. Also Flanno was really good, Kelly as expected was just a passenger.

Kelly needed to come on or he was never ever going to get minutes this year, i understand why BR did it, game was over and kelly deserved some minutes, this is the sole reason i hated we didn't make EL, gives us extra games for our squad players.

Can't blame Kelly (unless you aren't) for being a mere passenger when his injuries and lack of playing time has resulted in mass inertia to his career. I maintain he is our most talented prospect for our future backline as I pray to the football Gods he can stay fit.

Re: Liverpool FC vs. Cardiff City || December 21
yeah, with great players around you, most of the time you will be presented with such chances, i think he will slowly improve. It was really impressive that he was collecting the ball, carrying forward beating the players with very direct runs. I have not seen even Studge doing thatmr-r34 wrote:Can i add, Cou is absolutely terrible with his shots from distance, he really needs to work on them, as he gets in some really great shooting positions.

Btw before people forget, Coutinho had a really really good game. His movevment and vision was sublime. His through balls, especially the one to Sterling's one on one We will never be troubled in creating chances with teams parking the bus with Coutinho playing.
