Haven't been this excited for a PPV since the good old days of Channel 4 PPVs. Sneaking up at 1am, going bed at 4, then getting up at 7 for school

Betting sites now list Daniel Bryan as the favorite to win tonight's 30-man WWE Royal Rumble match. Bryan still has not been announced for the match but something changed within the past few hours that saw Bryan jump out ahead of Batista.
It's worth noting that the favorites almost always end up winning, as we've covered recently.
Here are the top 5 favorites to win the match, from Sky Bet. Other betting sites also now have Bryan listed as the favorite to win.
1) Daniel Bryan (8/15)
2) Batista (6/4)
3) CM Punk (8/1)
4) Roman Reigns (10/1)
5) Sheamus / Big E Langston (25/1)

Has anyone else ever won the the RR twice? Kind of pissed they let Batista do it since I don't like the guy and don't think he deserved it.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 8
I like Batista but that was a horrible way to win the RR, didn't deserve it one bit. poor Roman Reign, shows WWE has no trust in young talents.
Batista's spear against Reign was lolworthy.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 8
Reigns winning the RR would have been too much, too soon IMO. Same way Ryback was pushed and pushed and pushed until he imploded. They gave him too much too soon and he crumbled under the pressure.
Since Reigns is technically still a heel, what I see happening is Reigns challenges Batista to a 1 on 1 match at the next PPV with the WM main event on the line to see who truly is deserving of it. Ambrose and Rollins interfere and cost Batista his main event spot and Reigns goes on to lose to Cena at WM

Mick Foley @realmickfoley 38m
Does @WWE actually hate their own audience? I've never been so disgusted with a PPV.

Wait...@WWEDanielBryan isn't even IN the #RoyalRumble? That just kind of sucks.

Not sure if Bryan finally had enough or its part of a story line. Mich foley's tweets are probably a genuine opinion

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 8
Good PPV but could've been way better. The brotherhood dropping their belts was expected if The Usos are to win them on Mania, cant complain there.
Bryan vs Brey was a sick match. I could argue for either man winning, but after Bryan did the job here i was hoping he would at least have a solid presence in the rumble if not win it, but the WWE is the land of the giants and we seem to forget that.
Big show vs Lesnar was pointless. If you're building Lesnar up at least have him wrestle, and these countless chair shots did nothing to add to the Lesnar character.
The title match was okay and it became great in the end. Glad that the crowd was crapping on it and im impressed with how Cena and Orton reacted. Still the highlight of the match for me was the crowd.
The rumble itself was a huge disappointment minus Roman Reigns and advancing The Shield story line. I was expecting one of Sting or Goldberg, if not both, but we got Kevin Nash instead. Oh wee. Although i was hoping to see him, I kinda expected Bryan not to be in the match simply because i know how vince likes to run his business. Again the crowd was the highlight of the match as they crapped all over the winner.
Hopefully the WWE will learn a lesson here. Give the *bleep* people what they *bleep* want. In Washington they probably shrugged off the reaction because it was Bryan's home state, but its a theme now, every arena the WWE goes to Daniel Bryan is the hottest guy out there and the crowd will continue to get behind him because they know he is being pushed down on purpose.
Final thoughts, the WWE only scrapped Bryan joining the Wayetts because whatever plans they had for Cena and Hogan didnt go through after the latter wasnt cleared to wrestle. And we thought that they were coming back to their senses.
