He also had match of the night vs Bray Wyatt and had like 6 matches inn top 25 matches of the year in 2013. Meh wrestling indeed.

Shit gimmick, I may not like it but everyone else does. Few people in history was so over with the fans. He won Superstar Of The Year fan vote over freakin Cena. LOL at comparing him with Zack Ryder. Zack Ryder never had 1/4th the quality of matches Bryan had nor did he have thousands of fans screaming his name in title matches and main events.

Mic skills, not the best by any means but decent. Held his own against Cena, Orton, HHH, CM Punk etc.

Seriously, GL is the only place where Bryan is hated so much. Smarks love him obviously. Casual fans love him, you can see the crowd in every show. Wrestling personalities love him. Kids love him. If he was not an indie legend, the he would have won a lot of things, everyone knows that. Thousands of fans screaming Yes are hipsters as are Mick Foley and HBK

Not liking Daniel Bryan doesn't have anything to do with being a hipster, some people just don't find anything interest about him. yes he's a great wrestler but that's not enough. his gimmick is so limited, just a generic YES chant done over thousand times.

Also i never denied he's popular i just said i struggle to understand why he's so popular.

In every facet he's meh, there is nothing interesting about him at all.

If he's pushed before Bray Wyatt or/and Roman Reigns its a joke, they have so much more to offer its not even funny.

But i said the same about Cena back in the day and looked what happened there.... although tbf to Cena unlike Bryan he is actually entertaining outside the ring, has excellent mic skills, oozes charisma and cuts great promo's when he has to

Byran is a fantastic technical wrestler. You saw his match with Bray Wyatt, you seriously think he was meh? And he had far better performances than that. Competition? Ring Of Honor is serious business. He was the best wrestler there for almost five years. If he WAS meh, he would not have been so popular.

There's no point judging superstars if you only watch them on a PPV every 6 months imo. You need to watch RAW every week to know why they're over and popular.

It made sense in every booking way to have Bryan win the Rumble. He is an indie legend so he din get his moment. Simple. He is not outspoken like CM Punk, in real life he is a genuine nice guy and does whatever WWE tells him to do. I remember CM Punk having a poverty world title reign then suddenly winning the IC championship 3 months later. It was after his pipe bomb and threats to leave WWE for TNA/ROH that he became the star he deserved to be. Bryan needs to grow a pair.

Its not the first time i have seen him M99.

I have seen him at least 25 times, i have never not once been impressed.

All i'm going to say if he's what considered great then the standards must have slipped awfully low.

Its just about his wrestling skills anyway, a lot worse have been the no 1 guy.

He just doesn't have the charisma to carry the company, he looks like a timid virgin walking into a club for the first time and some girl says hello and he nervously looks at his feet while she talks to him.

His outside of the ring skills a mid card level, make him IC champ and its fine but pushing him to be the no 1 guy is well beyond what he should be.

Also MT shut it, i watch him more than every 6 months and i have seen enough because i don't like your little buddy doesn't mean i have to watch him every week.

Without watching every week even I would wonder why Bryan is over and popular. Every little match and segment made a difference when he got a push last year.

A superstar can't just be judged based on watching him every 6 months and then saying he has 'no gimmick' or 'he shouldn't do this and that'.

All this he can't carry the company but don't you see people loving him? People tune in to watch him, they beg WWE for him to be champion, his merchandise sales are currently 2nd highest in the company (behind Super Cena of course) and he can give matches that turn out to be best of the year. BTW I never said he should be the face of the WWE like Hogan/Austin/Cena. Let him have a title reign like Benoit. Or hell even one month like Jeff Hardy. Is that too much to ask? If he was not screwed out of the title and had a nice reign instead of 2 minutes or 24 hours, people would not have minded at all that he did not win Royal Rumble. They way he has been booked, it made perfect sense for him to win like Benoit did, but no. They are just not gonna give a payoff to the big storyline he had for almost 6 months nor give him the title reign that he deserves. He worked his ass of, competed with injures, never complained and what will he get? Another match with Sheamus

When they eventually have 2 main titles again, Bryan should have a lengthy WHC title run tbh



Reigns and Bray, future top face and heel right there

You have a bunch of scrubs who yo-yo between face and heel every 2 months when it suits WWE creative. AKA Big Show, Del Rio and god knows how many others.

The supposed top heel is Orton. Who is made to look like a coward 24/7. Not to mention the fans are clearly bored of him.


Reigns is legit, I like the entire shield tbh. But Reigns should go far.

OK, this post made it clear your main aim is to just get a response from Bryan fans.

Zack Ryder was nowhere near over as Bryan. Nowhere near. Who chanted for him in the Royal Rumble? He got popular because he had an admittedly really funny internet show. Casuals did not care about him for more than 3 months unlike Bryan.

Reigns and Wyatt are legit. I hope they don't ruin Reigns by pushing him too fast. Honestly if Reigns or CM Punk would have won, people would have been happy.

Goldberg had the simplest gimmick and was a two moves wrestler and for a year or so he was the biggest draw in wrestling. There is much more to wrestling than moves and mic skills. If you connect with the audience they will love you no matter what, even if you look like a 5'8 truck driver.

Thoughts on the RR is pretty much same as all of you. I am really surprised that the IC wasn't on the line. I mean Big E was barely in the ring for 5 mins in the RR and they could have used him much better.

Also when was the last time the US championship was defended?

The Rumble went on for an hour and 15 minutes and like Silver said, nothing major happened during the half of the time. Seamus coming out was a predictable but nice moment. Reigns performance was pretty good. Stole the show.

Batista winning it and getting bood was funny. Not even Del Rio got bood after he won the Rumble Also he has no business in being a multiple Rumble winner.

But anyways, Bryan vs Bray was a 4.5/5 match. Easily. One of the best in recent years. The chemistry, the story telling, everything was brilliant.

Crowd made the Orton-Cena match look much worse than it was. They were butthurt obviously but at least have some respect for one of the greatest of all time and Orton who is their current champion.

Lesnar dismantling big show was nice #evilmode

Wish there was a 5 mins Divas match tbh.

Reigns can be a legit beast. His mic skills are awful, keep him heel for a while and pair him up with Paul Heyman.

He has the look though, no homo. You can get by at the top without having much in the way of a gimmick.

Bryan doesn't have that. If he can craft a genuinely interesting gimmick and up his mic skills, I would be for him main eventing

as it stands he's just a small un-threatening guy who says a three letter word over and over again. It's dull.

Also regarding the Bryan saga.


Think some of you are being really harsh. Bryan is easily one of the best atm. He has the whole crowd behind him. Every city. If they go to Punk's hometown. Bryan will get cheered instead of him. He is massive atm.

I know what Vince is trying to do. He is testing to see how Big he can really get. More financially. If Bryan can make him at least 60% of what Cena makes him, then Bryan will main event at WM and win the title. The Crowd do not want to see anyone else but Bryan. You can't do anything.

No one wants to see Orton the champion anymore. They don't even like Batista. Lesnar won't get bood though. He might be the only one who can be the champion and get cheered. Unless he goes after Bryan.
