Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 8
As noted, the WWE Network is currently listed at $9.99 per month with a "six month purchase." As of now, that will be the only price option but it's expected that WWE can and will change that as the Network evolves.
There will be some advertising and commercials on the Network as well as sponsorships for specific events.
One of the discussions among WWE talents privately is how pay-per-view bonuses will change with the Network launching, if at all.
While WWE will be showing all 12 live pay-per-view events on the Network, pay-per-views will still be available via cable and satellite TV.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 8
Batista has indeed signed a 2 year deal with WWE.
_______________________________________________
As of a few days ago, there was no deal in place for Chris Jericho to make his return to WWE any time soon but word is that it's not like the door is closed on a potential deal.
______________________________________________
There was a lot of talk regarding WWE bringing back Dusty Rhodes for Old School RAW, which obviously didn't happen. Dusty hasn't been on RAW since the angle with Cody Rhodes and Goldust got their jobs back last year.
Dusty went off script during a promo with Stephanie McMahon and put his hand in her face, not letting her get the best of him. This lead to heat on Dusty.

u wot m8. AJ is a GOAT. She is single-handedly keeping the Divas division somewhat relevant over the Total Divas nonsense. Who would ever imagine a Diva cutting the best promo of the year?

Yohan Modric wrote:"In 2011, I heard rumours about the owner of American wrestling company WWE, Vince McMahon, trying to buy Newcastle United," says Morten Hansen. "Is this true? I also heard that he had plans of moving one or two home fixtures to the States, and he wanted to showcase professional wrestling matches as half-time shows. Has there ever been other instances of owners who wanted to move home fixtures for a specific team to another place, or owners who wanted who wanted to promote his other companies in half-time shows"It's hard to tell where the rumour linking Vince McMahon, the chairman of WWE described by the Mirror as "a bona fide, 110% certifiable maniac", with Newcastle came from, but it didn't take long to spread all over Twitter and start to creep in to the football news consciousness. The Newcastle Chronicle duly put the question to the club, but the official response was to brand the story "nonsense" and refuse to comment further. So the whole thing died almost as quickly as it had sprung in to life. And really, it's difficult to see how a rumour linking Sensible Mike Ashley's club with the man in charge of this sort of pantomime can ever have gained any traction.
I remember lol.... would have been so awesome lol.

AJ's by far been the best diva. Good on the mic, in the ring and has a decent gimmick.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 8
WWE talents were notified on Wednesday that there will be a meeting backstage at Monday's RAW from Providence, Rhode Island.
The plan is for Vince McMahon and other WWE officials to speak to the roster about how the company will be changing with the Network finally launching.
As we have noted, a major concern among talents is how their pay-per-view bonuses will be affected, if at all.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 8
We noted before that Batista made these comments in reply to a tweet from Alberto Del Rio where Del Rio mentioned Batista's MMA debut against Vince Lucero. Del Rio wrote:
"I'm the one wining all the major titles while u were getting ur ass kick by your plumber (Vince lucero) See u at the rumble... Like we say in #Mexico U can buy muscles but U can't buy Huevos cabron"
Batista replied:
"Seems 2 me that some C level stars in a B level star era have bought into their own hype. Don't turn a work into a shoot. #realitycheck"
Batista has since deleted that tweet. According to PWInsider, his comments have been a hot topic within WWE among other wrestlers this week, with the feeling that he pretty much buried the entire locker room with one tweet.
One person compared them to Triple H once saying The Undertaker was the only person worthy of wrestling him in the entire locker room

Roman Reigns has a 'boring' chant worthy moveset. Has like 2-3 actual moves. Other than that it's basic rest holds and strikes.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 8
I was watching Smackdown yesterday, Regins is HORRIBLE on the mic. WWE needs to keep him heel and pair him up with Paul Heyman. Dean Ambrose on the other hand That guy can be really funny, I was laughing a lot on his promo. He is good both on the ring and mic but I guess WWE does not see 'It' in him.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 8
I agree, he's bad on the mic, not Ryback bad, but no where near he needs to be. That's why i've been saying he isnt ready for a monster push yet. His push should be slow, give him the US title and let him hold it for 6-7 months while having meaningful feuds. If he doesnt improve then he's stuck being a heel.

Re: The Official WWE Thread - Part 8
I've always thought Reigns sucked in the ring. But if just adds some more power moves/general moves into his moveset, then that should be adequate.
Also I wonder if each member will change their attire when they all split up.
