PSG owner: No Pogba talks



Paris Saint-Germain owner Nasser Al Khelaifi has claimed that there have been no talks with Paul Pogba regarding a move.

The French champions have been heavily linked with the Juventus midfielder, with outlets all over Europe reporting figures between €40m-€70m that the capital club are willing to pay for the youngster.

However, the Parisiens chief has insisted that the club have not held talks with the former Manchester United man about a transfer.

“Pogba? We have not spoken with him,” he told Sport Mediaset.

“Only at the end of the season will we evaluate everything.”

After Tuesday night’s elimination from the Champions League to Chelsea, Al Khelaifi has also indicated that Laurent Blanc will keep his job as Coach.

“We have confidence in him. I expect him to stay on.”

Paul Pogba was non-committal on his Juventus future after they reached the Europa League semi-final.

A lot of people look at selling Pogba as a sign of weakness by Juve but you don't have to look much further than the sale of Zidane to Madrid and understand the potential of turning Pogba's sale into the 2 WC players who will improve the team.

Whether Pogba goes or stays for a huge sum of money isn't an issue the way I see it. The problem is whether we're already thinking of the next two 'big signings' to replace Pogbito if his sale happens. Either way, the future looks bright for Juve.

actually I think selling pogba and re-investing in players like Nani, Dzeko is not two steps backward.

Nani is affordable without selling Pogba, Dzeko would be a pointless purchase.

@Devi; whats 2 stepz backward is selling pogba and buying useless players like dzeko. If we sell pogba, we won't have depth in the midfield and pirlo is aging, so we would only be left with marchisio and vidal after 2 years. Who would we buy instead of pogba? He has the potential to be the best.

Nani is affordable without selling Pogba like Tom said. If anything, a Man city player we should go after would be Aguero considering they want Pogba, but that's all if we want to sell him. I would just try and get Sanchez, a LB and a good ST (Immobile) to challenge Llorente, and sell the useless players, and keep Pogba.

Yeaaahhhhh Devi, if we have immobile and we own 50% of his cards, proven in serie , Why go for dzeko?
