I'm not sure about Shojaei as the attacking midfielder, how many games has he played there ? i think he's more effective on the wings.

He's doing well in Las Palmas but as you said he's not consistent and can't be trusted, personally think we should give Bakhtiar Rahmani a chance in friendlies to see how he performs in the AM role, he has been excellent at Foolad this season.

CQ removing one of our best attacking player from the squad.   

I have no problem with Azmoun being removed, he's too young and CQ probably thought he's not up for it but we really needed Khalatbari's speed and creativity on the wings, even as a sub he could've been handy.

How the fck Shojaei who's done absolutely nothing in our qualifying campaign gets called up but Khalatbari who scored one of the most important goal of the campaign (1-0 win against Uzbekistan) is removed from the squad.

Anyway this just proved that we're going to park the bus in all three games, CQ seems confident about our defense but we haven't been really tested so far, we kept clean sheet against Belarus and Montenegro because they were shite offensively.

Who will be Iran's Nr.1 keeper? *curious* Will it be Daniel Davari? For Braunschweig he was fairly competent, but I don't know the other GKs that were nominated.

Well with the way Carlos Queiroz has been rotating Davari and Ahmadi in friendlies it's hard to say who's actually the starter but i think he'll go with Davari in world cup.

i also think he will choose Davari
but i would personally go with Ahmadi
he kept 3 clean sheets in last 3 games of qualifying campaign plus communication and understanding between GK and Defence is key
