Basically, we're all acknowledging the lack of limits and lengths we'd go to to not see Flamini any closer to a starting position.

Does any else feel that Coq's injury might force AW into buying a DM?If not a Krychowiak at least a Nampalys Mendy?

Or is it me trying to be over-optimistic?

Not unless he's out for the rest of the season.

Nobody @ Arsenal is out for the season. It's initially 'he's two weeks away' followed by 'he'll be back after the int'l break',then 'there's a slight complication in his recovery' and when the transfer season starts 'he's making good progress and will be back in action by the end of the transfer season'.

Rinse and repeat.

Coquelin has swelling round the knee and they need to wait for that to go down before they can properly assess what his injury is. The hope is that it's only short-term (obviously).

Mertesacker is available for selection.

Alex Iwobi will be part of the squad.

Coquelin will miss tomorrow's game with Leicester but is improving and will return to training soon. He'll have a scan today. Wenger thinks he'll be short for Tuesday's game against Olympiakos but could be ready for United next week.

Wenger has also said Wilshere could be back sometime in December, though vitally didn't specify the year.

Welbeck and forgotten man Rosicky are both "doing well".

No new injuries from the Spurs game.

The club will found out today if Gabriel will be banned.

If Coquelin misses United, we can officially get on the fourth place trophy train already.

Already dreading how many Mahrez will rip us. Thinking of taking a -4 hit on FPL to sign him, just because the guys I have never score anyway. On the same note, I should also sell Sanchez now hmm

Flamini has tweaked his hamstring. No timeframe given but it'll probably be at least three weeks.

Coquelin could be back on Tuesday.

Arteta out of omorrow's game with a knock. Flamini also out. Coquelin could return:

I would probably save Coq for United and not risk him, except probably to shore things up when we're cruising 3-0 up at 70'. :coffee: #GLJinx

Koscielny will have a late fitness test to determine if he's fit to play against Watford.

Arteta and Flamini are back in full training but will need to be assessed ahead of Saturday.

Alexis says he's "okay" after worries about his groin problem, but he's not actually come back yet so the club can't say for sure. He did manage to complete 90 minutes twice last week.

Everyone else has reported back injury free.

Let's just save Alexis and Koscielny for Bayern.

If we can't beat Watford while resting a few key players, ..........
