Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
lmao, absolutely dire.
Wenger will go with Debuchy at CB it seems, since he opted for Monreal over Ajayi, Hayden and the other young CBs we have available. Debuchy would be a better CB than Nacho but we should not be in this position.

I know you guys might think its funny but I would put Giroud as CB for a while, he is our best defender anyways.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
This could well be the worst season we've had in terms of injuries.
Szczesny's been out with a rib injury.
Ospina's got a dodgey knee and has missed pretty much the whole season.
Koscielny's got his dodgey achilles and has now hurt his calf.
Gibbs has been out with the odd knock.
Monreal has been out with a back injury and now is regularly getting knocks
Debuchy has missed the whole first half of the season.
Arteta has picked up about three or four muscle related injuries.
Diaby is Diaby.
Ramsey's hamstring has been causing him problems all season and he's now out for four weeks.
Wilshere and his glass ankles keeping him out for three months.
Ozil not back until the new year.
Walcott has groin problems.
Chamberlain has picked up knocks.
Gnabry has disappeared off the face of the Earth.
Giroud missing three months.
It's a miracle Mertesacker and Alexis haven't broken down yet.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
I think what will happen is that once we get Koscielny, Ramsey, Özil, and Walcott back ... then we'll immediately lose Mertesacker (ehh ... broken shoulder) and Alexis (injured knee after a horror tackle from a relegation-fodder defender who "isn't that sort of player" who will get away without so much as a foul called on him).

Watch & see how United solve their Injury woes within a matter of months, while the moron running our club will still be scratching his head calling our horrendous injury record bad luck

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
He's not out for the three months. Wenger said that he's still got an inflamed Achilles and needs three months of complete rest to fully recover, but he can still play if we manage it.

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
Let's hope so.
I can't see him shake off his Achilles injury this season tbh. He was rushed back IMO after the United game. No one suddenly appears in training while treating achilles injury.
He could come back soon enough. But I'd be worried about how long it will take him for him to get injured again. Kaka had that injury and he was out for 1.5 years(played in the middle but never consistently).
I am honestly done with the season. Do we really think Sanchez will last the whole season?

Re: The Arsenal Injury Thread
How, exactly, is RVP Wenger's problem? Blame Wenger all you want for the condition of HIS players, but don't try and lump the fact that RVP has all the mobility of Jim off Eastenders on Wenger. Heck, Wenger salvaged RVP's career

Wenger said that Ramsey and Koscielny will be out for a "few weeks". No word on whether Chamberlain has an injury after he limped off.
