A 4-3-3 Juventus for Real?
Tuttosport are claiming Juventus will line up with a 4-3-3 in Tuesday’s Champions League game against Real Madrid.
Boss Antonio Conte surprisingly fielded such a shape in Madrid during the 2-1 loss and, although he has since reverted back to a 3-5-2 in Serie A, he seems intent on fielding a trident attack again.
The Turin daily is suggesting Martin Caceres will be fielded as the right-back, with Leonardo Bonucci coming in for the suspended Giorgio Chiellini in the middle.
On the left, Angelo Ogbonna and Federico Peluso are in competition for the full-back shirt.
The midfield trio will be made up of Andrea Pirlo, Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal.
Claudio Marchisio will be used in an advanced attacking position on the right, with Carlos Tevez on the left.
Fernando Llorente, who scored in the first game, will battle with Fabio Quagliarella for the centre-forward role.
The Turin giants have collected just two points from their three European Cup ties so far this term.
Juventus probable: Buffon; Caceres, Barzagli, Bonucci, Ogbonna; Vidal, Pirlo, Pogba; Marchisio, Llorente, Tevez.

No Juventus fear for Modric
Real Madrid’s Luka Modric is looking forward to the prospect of playing Juventus in the Champions League this week.
With nine points from a possible nine so far, the Spanish giants will take on an Italian outfit – who have collected just two points – on Tuesday night.
“We are not afraid of Juventus,” the Croatian international told the Bwin website. “They are a great team that we respect, but we don’t fear them.
“They have a great squad with great players, and when you play big matches like this you want the best players from the other team to play against you.
“Personally I want to play my best and help my team to win all of the matches and trophies possible.
“I prepare for Champions League matches in the usual way, the same as for a League match. There is not much difference between getting ready for one or the other.”

Re: Juve VS Madrid home game :))
i'd put Marchisio as a AM personally and let Llorente and Tevez split the pitch in front of him... i don't think you're using Marchisio properly by playing him on the side.

True, but We need marchisio anyways.. 4-3-3 is most suitable attacking formation that we can have. We need all of our MFs, pirlo vidal pogba and marchi

CR has gotten his karma plenty of times with no calls (most recently against Barca last week)... just the way it is. If you're going to play dirty, then expect it back.

Re: Juve VS Madrid home game :))
One of the most one-sided, baseless, idiotic posts I've seen in this forum. Gotten away with murder... Sweet Jesus, even if this was true since when does football punish for past mistakes? I guess Zidane's sending off in the World Cup was also some sort of just desert. He must have littered that day or forgot to shake someone's hand. Yes, this is the same backwards logic that has led you to your claim. Chiellini plays physically and plays to win, sometimes that does involve him pulling a shirt of taking a risk. But he does not try and hurt players. That's what a thug is.sportsczy wrote:oh chiellinni deserves every dive and red card that comes his way... the dirtiest player of his generation and he's gotten away with murder in the past.

Re: Juve VS Madrid home game :))
The formation is the same as long as Ogbonna is left back
i like the idea actually, conte is not sticking to the formation
It will start of as advertised
433 but then due to our players it will turn into a 4222
back four
Vidal - Pirlo
Pogba-------------Marchisio
Tevez ------Llorente
And I think when we will be dominating we will see the 352
Barzagli Bonnucci Ogbonna
Cacares Pogba Vidal Pirlo Marchisio
Tevez Llorente
We will create chances, A LOT of chances. we have to be very clinical
The game rests on Vidal and Marchisio in my opinion
if they can shield Pirlo, we win.

Re: Juve VS Madrid home game :))
being a thug and being a dirty player are not one and the same... the best dirty players are very sneaky about it and they do not look to hurt anyone.
i never said Chielinni is a thug... but he is the dirtiest player of this generation imo. He cheats in every way that he can. Well, referees do review film of players and they do see what players have done in the past. So if Chielinni looks like he did something, the referee will lean towards assuming the worse... on the other side are players like Silva who are reknown for being super clean. When referees are unsure about a call, they tend to give players like Silva the benefit of the doubt.
