Osvaldo's goal yesterday should be getting a lot more love than it currently is.

however this is the best Everton I have even seen not only for style of play but also for players...
they can rely on alternatives / reserve who don't have in last years...
Gerard Deulofeu. Very important player to be included in the last 20-30 minutes of match...
Last year the solution was Steven Naismith...

I was like, "Okay Wenger, this isn't you."Eman wrote:What Chumlum said +1Chumlum wrote:Five points clear at the top of the league, and this is what you focus on?1991 wrote: I predicted before this season started that by the end of the season we will want Wenger out again and I still stand by that. Our summer was appalling. Ozil was a lucky panic signing, we have no back up for an average CF, we have just 3cbs, we won't win shit.
Would you rather have your prediction come true, or see Arsenal win the league?
And right now Everton are playing as well as anyone, and we got off to a bad start, so 1-1 is fair. Ramsey, Wilshere, and Cazorla held us back today - the moment we made our subs, the game opened up. Arsene making 3 subs at once like it's FIFA
If Giroud had scored at the end there...

Martinez is too classy to take any dig at moyes, and he doesn't have any reason to do so because they are not enemies and Moyes kinda is a legend in his current club.

If Moyes is a legend to Everton fans, then Figo is a legend to Barcelona
Moyes was booed and badmouthed from the first minute when Man u and Everton played last week, and Moyes called them a disgrace after the game. Not to mention a large section of Everton fans hold Moyes responsible for their trophies decade and lack of success in cups.
But yea, the only reason he'd be a legend up there is paying 28M for Fellanini which helped Everton improve massively.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
Lol too bad for the bitters. Their 3 better players Lukaku, Deulefeu and Barry are on loan and will leave after this season and their only real shot of signing one of them is 33 year old Barry.
There's a very huge chance that they might lose Baines and Barkley in the summer to United/City/Chelsea or whoever.
And most of their other important players are over 30.
Howard (34), Jagielka (31), Distin (35), Osman (32), Pienaar (31), Kone (30).

Ok, didn't know that. I'm surprised to hear that because Moyes was a loyal servant to everton and it's not like he left for a direct rival and with bad manners.Natalie Portman wrote:You couldn't be more wrong free.free_cat wrote:Martinez is too classy to take any dig at moyes, and he doesn't have any reason to do so because they are not enemies and Moyes kinda is a legend in his current club.

Still, I don't think Martinez is taking a dig at Moyes, way to classy.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
Martinez is capable of having digs at people he's done it before many times.
Thing is he's very savvy, he does it in a way which isn't obvious..
Other thing.... yes Deulofeu, Lukaku and Barry ( outstanding again i felt) are loanee's but at the end of the day if they finish 4th the end will justify the means.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
Moyes was booed because of his pursuit of Fellaini and Baines. That is all there is too it.
And enough bs about Moyes calling Everton fans disgraceful. He denied the allegation.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
Nah Everton fans don't like Moyes because he's coward and had a losers mentality.
Yes he did well for them but they were sick of his football and big game cowardice and flopping.
They have been against him for a long time.
Its quite similar to how Newcastle fans feel towards Pardew actually except they had to deal with it for a longer period of time.

Not here unfortunatelyfree_cat wrote:Any Everton fan to clear that up?
But i post on a Newcastle forum, where 5 Everton fans are regulars ( one is an admin) and they all say the same thing about Moyes.
I have read their forum on occasion too and the theme is consistent.
They thank Moyes for what he did but in his final years they got annoyed with his lack of tactical prowess, losers mentality and style of play to the extent they felt it held them back.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
I'm not talking about what average fat Joe watching football drunk in a shanty pub thinks about Moyes. A lot of people in Emirates have wanted Wenger's head for years, for pretty much the same reasons such as big game screw ups and consistent floppage.Great Leader Sprucenuce wrote:Nah Everton fans don't like Moyes because he's coward and had a losers mentality.

Go on GrandOldTeam, the biggest Everton forum on the net and search for posts before he left Everton and you will see what i'm saying is true.

Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3
You're making an assumption that Moyes is a coward with loser mentality because Everton fans may think so (unless that is your own opinion?). Even if they think that, what the fans say is not necessarily true, as I mentioned in Emirates the majority wanted Wenger's head until a few months ago.
I think those Everton fans were being very harsh on Moyes after he gave them plenty in his spell on the Toffees' bench. And I'm certain the Fellaini and Baines pursuit had a lot to do with fuelling the flames.

Tbf most fans on these big club only forums most of the time are season ticket holders so if anyone represents the view of the club its them.

No question who the best player on Arsenal is after today. I can't believe there were people saying Cazorla or Ramsey were in the same vein as Ozil.
