Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3 - Page 31 Empty Re: Barclay's Premier League discussion '13-'14 V3

Post by Robespierre Sat Dec 07, 2013 11:39 pm

about top team matches ... (I saw nothing about sunderland-Tottenham)

the matchday could not begin  better with Cabaye (one of my fav players) who violates the Old Trafford

Newcastle  victory absolutely deserved , Magpies lethal against   top teams this year .. all played very well, if I have to choose one over the other I say Mathieu Debuchy . he has adapted to English football . while last year I saw him in trouble (against Liverpool for example) . Then of course Cabaye and Moussa Sissoko..but I liked too Santon , I'm glad for you

Manchester United club absolutely normalized  this year, in  4 days fall two home records , even no Fergie Time today ...

At Stoke another surprising result .. it's not so simply to play at Britannia Stadium but conceding again 3 goals ( after Sunderland.. and I'm talking of Sunderland and Stoke ) is a true anomaly in Mourinho clubs. in general, I toil to see his hand this year, he  seems to have normalized too , after being at the top for a decade maybe mourinho is in decrease --- jumped the shark. it would be physiological

Southampton - City , 1-1 , right result ... Osvaldo scored a GOAT gol , this is Osvaldo , he plays intermittent performances, very discontinous, then he is good to score similar goals ( it's not first time) , goals who create an excessive overvaluation about his real value .. so much overvalued from Italian media ...

Liverpool - West Ham , I was enough sure about a "quiet" Liverpool victory.
Anfield is again a fort , while hammers are lacking  in normal conditions, let alone if there isn't Ravel Morrison
there are no more words for Suarez..
Only  Martin Skrtel's own goal (what is it , a vice? )avoid the expected clean sheet
He has scored more goals (on action) than Soldado ...

I disagree. It is about time people give SAF the credit he deserved. His team consists of scrubs and only a few good players.
that was indirect credit to the man SAF :coffee:

Everton the best team we have faced at the Emirates this season. Was a brilliant game to watch. Shame we conceded in the end. Credit to Martinez and Everton.

Howard was their best player.
Our best player was Ozil or Koscielny.

5 points clear. Now can only afford to lose one of City/Chelsea.

I predicted before this season started that by the end of the season we will want Wenger out again and I still stand by that. Our summer was appalling. Ozil was a lucky panic signing, we have no back up for an average CF, we have just 3cbs, we won't win shit.

what a pity that Everton plays  only once a week !!!

I love to see them to play , fantastic Martinez job so far, the team that has created more difficulties to  Arsenal at Emirates

the tie is the right result, I was impressed  by the personality with which Toffees have played..

Barkley simply GOAT, but nothing new

Koscielny played  a great match , the usual Koscielny, there are matches he seems  a reliable defender (even against Borussia) ,then duly he "betrays" you returning to behave like a booby

Oh woe is us, being five points clear top of the table and only drawing our second game all season. Sad

It wasn't a great performance from us, but Everton were terrific and that was probably the best performance against us this season. They're certainly good value for their point, and maybe a bit unfortunate not to come away with all three.

Saying that, I'm disappointed with the level of our performance in that game and inability to convert some of our chances. We really needed to win that and go seven points clear. Can't afford to be dropping too many points at home when opportunities like that arise.

Five points clear at the top of the league, and this is what you focus on? Laughing

Would you rather have your prediction come true, or see Arsenal win the league? hmm

What Chumlum said +1

And right now Everton are playing as well as anyone, and we got off to a bad start, so 1-1 is fair. Ramsey, Wilshere, and Cazorla held us back today - the moment we made our subs, the game opened up. Arsene making 3 subs at once like it's FIFA Proud

If Giroud had scored at the end there...
