team full of potential, most expensive signing was Markovic from Benfica for €12 million sold off all the over paid overrated scrubs like Viera, Rami, Banega etc

got like €45 million transfer funds just sitting there lol

I personally like FIFA 14 myself. I don't take the gameplay too seriously and as I bump up the difficulties, I see better representation of the AI.

Big thing I'd like to see, and it's something I've been looking for in basically every version since like 07, is the ability to:

- change captains during the game (primarily for subbing off your captain.)

I love Radja Nainggolan and all, but when I sub off an aging and declining De Rossi in my 5th season, I'd love to be able to make someone like Benatia or Strootman take the armband instead of it automatically passing to Nainggolan.

It's a such a small, cosmetic feature and yet it irks me that it doesn't get put in. Maybe this should be posted on the EA forums

Another small feature I'd like to see in Career mode is the ability, as manager, to actually choose what I can say in the press conferences. It could even be Mass-Effect style (positive, negative, neutral) pre-loaded scripts that could be expressed. "Praise", "Motivate", "Unnerve" is too high-level.

Same definitely needs to be done on the Be a Pro side and could even be an unlockable feature once the player becomes one of his sides star players, a fan favorite or even captain.

. Why is there always a massive gap in between your midfield and defense? Why is not possible to have your lines close just like teams do in real life. Especially from throw ins near the box, they always get a free shot due to the gap.

Tbh I haven't looked too much into this as far as tactics screens go and all, since I play FIFA pretty much for career mode and very casually, but this is actually a pretty common problem. The gap between the midfield and defense is at times huge. Even when I play on legendary, I cut in with Bakkali from the left sometimes (or Orellana) and I can get a good shot off or create a dangerous situation because the midfielders don't always get back to defend the player cutting in, so a CB has to step out.

That always *bleep* happens and it's *bleep* annoying  

I'm sure they done that on purpose so people would watch replays.

Board sold both Suarez and Sturridge behind my back in the final week of January... had to improvise and buy Shaqiri and Müller on absurd wages. Also brought in Areola after Mignolet picked up a 2 month injury.

Also, has anybody used Ander Herrera? I've been thinking about him too, for next summer.

Well rounded and can run for days. Very solid defensively though tends to pop up too far forward at times.

I bought Herrera in one of my career modes, he is pretty good buy for the price i think i got him for around 8 million euros...but I don't think he has the potential of some of the other young CM's in the game...if your looking to get a player who gets to 85+ overall eventually...

EA might have adjusted it now tho because he had a very good season with Bilbao and when I bought him it was back just after the game came out.


I always look to buy players on the cheap and young who have massive potential and develop them and sell for big money...I find it more fun building a team from youngsters to world beaters then just buying established players with rich teams.

The best is when you pick a team in lower divisions and then develop these kids and start crushing lower divisions with kids because they all in 80's and these lower division teams have bunch of 60-70 rated scrubs lol

btw my biggest pet peeve of FIFA is when you take a football league team to premier league promotion, and your still stuck with scrubby league football lettering and #'s on the jersey's....can't be that hard to throw premier league print on the back come on EA

Then my Long ball finally works, Vidic outpaces Messi eventhough I was 20 yards ahead of him at start.

Argentina vs Man Utd, that's why I always set the filter to make sure I don't play international teams.

Everyone is playing with International teams nowadays so i rarely get clubs

Play the WC mode on UT. Might rage quit in 2 mins though. Everything is buffed up. Pace, shot power, defenders being clumsy etc etc.

Jones and Smalling are best CB pairing in the world....I see nothing wrong with this
