£9 for 100K online, that'd get you started, tempted to do the same since I spent all my coins when I quit it months ago. You can pretty much buy the best la liga team with 100K minus Messi, Ronaldo and Neymar. Though La Liga sucks on UT.

Usually I wouldn't care due to clubs, but nobody ever plays clubs on PS4, so I need my fifa fix.

UT is amazing.

UT is addictive and really fun.

i was all about UT for like 2-3 weeks built a decent bundesliga squad then i started up a career mode and have been immersed in that...will probably go back to UT soon as I'm getting bored of thrashing everyone in career mode

I want to get IF TIF PIF or whatever they're called versions of Messi and Ronaldo. Want something like:

If you're buying packs, then you're either stupendously 1/100,000 lucky and spend under £100 quid or you spend your entire life savings and hope to get enough discard value to be able to afford Ronaldo.

Nah I'm not looking to spend any money at all. A lot of people use different methods like buying low selling high, or buying the same group of players and then selling them etc etc. Lots of of methods on youtube. Don't see any point in playing UT if you can't get who you want. Might as well just edit teams in the main menu, get your players and play friendlies.

I used to be an addict on UT, I had a chinese hookup on XBOX selling me 10000 microsoft points for like £10, from FIFA 11-13 I probably opened 5,000+ packs and I never saw a Messi, Ronaldo or Robben in packs. I only ever pulled 1 in form worth tons in that time too. It's ridiculous odds. Even me spending all that money I could never keep up with having the absolute best teams, because IF's of Ronaldo etc go for 5Mil+

Also that team you want would never work MT, Thiago Silva would be on like 4-5 chemistry and someone like Zapata at 10 would perform better

Building the team is part of the fun
Same reason I find building a Super team on career mode boring as hell. The novelty wears off within a couple of games

And doing UT trades is great and all. But unless you stick to it like an absolute pro then you're not gonna be getting anywhere near Ronaldo and Messi


If you're really lucky you'll make a couple thousand off of one player. These players cost Millions

It's also worth keeping in mind that it resets every year, so if you spent 6 months doing some seriously boring trading, you'd barely get to use your team by the time fifa 15 is out


You have a few realistic options really.

Do what I do now, spend no money and rely on beating other players online to get money. You can build a really good team with players who are just overpowered despite not being highly rated

You can use in-game money to buy packs. This rarely works out obviously

You can spend your own money and trade a bit, get a nice team with a couple 100k+ players.

Or you can trade your way up to millions which will take hundreds of hours and quite frankly sounds depressing. Videos won't help you much.

The players that are used in videos end up getting bought out by people like yourself and you get nowhere.

It's classic supply & demand, just on fifa.

I never bothered with chemistry on UT on previous FIFA's. Just got who I wanted.

So you would end up with a super team that feels worse than a 20,000 coin organised team.

Surprisingly almost all the players are dirt cheap this year compared to other UT's, with the exception of the absolute elite players.

Ramos and Thiago Silva were 100-150K each last year. This year you can get both for like 30-35K each.

I hope they get rid of custom set pieces. People just abuse them.

Considering how overpowered they can be and the fact I've played thousands of games of FIFA over the past 5 years, I'm surprised I've never bothered to create a custom set piece

I made one before, but failed. The one where every one of your players is in goal and they all come out when the corner is taken. Scored like one goal from it.

It's just you can't have LAM/RAM in UT, so they just call them CAM.

Nah, it's probably worse on that old generation.

I hope they release a revamped downloadable game mode for current gen. I'd buy that, Euro 2012 was like that and worth it. I was ranked in the top 50 with Belgium

Give up with career mode

Putting aside the game-breakingly slow menus, the game faults are shocking too.

Simulating matches is a joke. You're almost guaranteed an injury, sometimes a bad one. My goalkeeper is out for 4 months thanks to simulation.

Unless your squad is ridiculously stacked (I don't enjoy super-teams in career mode) then if you're the away team, you're almost guaranteed not to win

And something that completely ruins it for me, is the unrealistic targets and how it's impossible to move away from a club

So i'm playing on World Class difficulty with Aston Villa. I have a shit budget so I bring in youngsters and I manage to clinch 4th place in the last match day


I also sold Benteke in January, I had 30M roughly from his sale and a couple of others. When I finish the season in a CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SPOT, my budget doesn't get added on to. No it actually went down to 20M with a lower wage budget.


My entire budget disappeared over the Summer as I moved into a new season. So... with a 20M budget and a barely 4* squad, my chairman wants me to reach the 1/4 final of the Champions league.........


My group stage was Dortmund, Atletico and Celtic. I finished 3rd in the group and decided f*ck this i'm moving to a new club.

So, I had massively over-achieved at Villa and yet every single club I apply for reject me. Why even have job oppenings if you can't ever get accepted?

Fulham (Had 85M to spend, cpu takeover happened at some point)

Rejected from each and every one of them.

This game.... if it wasn't such a big brand it would get 2/10 and people would demand a full refund.
