Feels a bit too soon, maybe.

He brought in quite many ex-Seria A players, we'll see how the new manager copes with that squad.

I would actually be concerned if it wasn't a squad bereft of any quality.

They are going to have to get a very good manager to get anything from that set of players.

He is good as a temporary appointment but not long term. The guy criticizes his own players on tv and stuff confused

Doesn't matter who takes over, judging by their next set of fixtures, they would be still be rooted at the bottom of the league.

The positive is, anyone available atm is leagues above Di Canio as a manager.

Depends who we replace him with. As long as its not DiMatteo, McClaren or Pulis I will be relatively happy.

Personally I would give Bally the job, no one knows the club better than him.

So apparently Di Canio's management style was just as you could imagine from the image he gave out in public: fear and fury. Like Steve Bruce said, the time is past that kind of management. In this light I find Di Canio very limited and outright poor at management and I'd imagine he will struggle to land another job in England.

The bad news for Sunderland is that he loaded their squad with average players.

Poyet was linked and i think he can be the right man for the job. The players at Sunderland (specially bought by Di Canio) are technically decent and will suit the way Poyet plays.
