Antonio Conte has admitted that it is inevitable he will rotate his squad with the Champions League on the horizon.

The Bianconeri travel to Copenhagen to face the Danish side tomorrow, before playing seven games in 25 days.

“With Saturday’s match against Inter we have started an important cycle for the season,” he told a Press conference.

“After Copenhagen we play Verona in the League and then Galatasaray in the Champions League. It’s inevitable at some point that we will have to rotate.

“We will not change our philosophy though. I’m sure everyone will give me the answers I want. I’m very confident with everyone in the squad.

“We’ve studied the opponent. We know they play good football. I can’t quite understand why they are in the situation they are in. We have to just remember the draw against Nordsjaelland last season to see how tough this game will be.

“We have to stay focused. They are a team that plays football. They use a 4-4-2 or a 4-4-1-1 with tight, well-defined lines.

“I think that extra year of Champions League experience is crucial. In the group stages you only have six games, so if you mess up it is difficult. Real Madrid are favourites for to spot, so on paper you could say that Juventus and Galatasaray will fight for second – but Copenhagen can give us all problems.”

It's important we rest Mirko and Barzagli

And Pirlo must be benched for Chievo. He needs to rest too.
