Juventus acquires Continassa area
Juventus Football Club has officially acquired the Continassa area adjacent to Juventus Stadium following this morning’s confirmation by the City of Turin council.
The renewable contract lasts for 99 years and covers 180,000 square metres of the Continassa zone. The related pavement area (SLP), which totals 33,000 square metres, will house the new first-team training centre, media facilities, main club offices and also provide services to the public, as well as private residences.
The price, as identified in the report by the expert assigned by the City of Turin, has been set at € 11.7 million, which assigns a value of about € 355 per square metre of SLP (totalling 33,000 square metres) and € 65 per square metre for the long-term lease (totalling 180,000 square metres).
Whilst the project undoubtedly represents an important step for the club’s future, it will also help in regenerating a part of the city that has recently been lying derelict. The new development, along with Juventus Stadium, Juventus Museum and Area 12 shopping centre, is expected to generate significant socio-economic spin-off effects for the local area.

Great! Will they increase the capacity of the stadium as well?
