Need a new laptop!

I am not sure it's a virus. But might as well scan. Malwarebytes is one of the good ones but as a 2nd option, try Avira Antivirus.

Might work:

Press: ctrl + shift + esc

Right click 'windows explorer' on the list, then restart.


If not then right click the bottom taskbar, choose settings and then 'automatically hide taskbar in desktop mode'. Temporary solution imo.

You can just press F11 as a temporary solution tbh

If you get this taskbar problem just watching "full screen" videos in Chrome then it's a Chrome issue with it not actually full-screening and making a full screen borderless window instead and not focusing properly. If you get the same issue with for example the Netflix app or borderless fullscreen games then make sure your graphics drivers are correctly installed.

The only time I encountered this was with watching a youtube fullscreen video on my 2nd monitor but that bug disappeared in a few days (I use Vivaldi, which is chromium based and the spiritual successor to Opera [which is now just Chrome sans google botnet])

Now the only way I can make the taskbar appear on top a fullscreened video is if I focus another program and then drag the window to that monitor.

F11 shouldn't work since it makes the same borderless fullscreen window as it makes when playing a fullscreen video.

Nah it happened on firefox and my own personal photo's too so it wasn't that but thankfully I got to the bottom of it

Ironically malwarebytes for whatever reason crippled my computer Went to click on it and my computer completely froze, deleted it earlier on a suspicion and what do you know, full screen works fine now and my computer isn't messing about.

MWB worked a treat on my old laptop, almost made this one unusable.

So lads, I'm going to buy a new one this coming weekend.

So all I want is a badboy that can run smooth yea. I don't use that many programs like some legit computer boys would, but I also use a fair share of programs. So what do I look for in features when I want a strong running horse.

Do I look at the intel core processor? I have seen one that is I7 6500U. Is that a badboy?
Do I look at DDR, SRAM as well?

The higher the RAM the better it runs yea? Is 4GB a good choice? Because apparently the one I have now runs only on 2GB RAM.

Depends on what you want to use it for? Just the regular surfing, streaming etc. Or gaming?

Yeah laptop. Just regular surfing, essay writing, music playing, online streaming.. photo and video editing.

That would be the bulk of it I would say.

Not interested in gaming at all.

Also there's this laptop called, Azus. Is that any good?

Don't think about brand names. It doesn't matter. Some brands has a bad reputation like Acer (one I got atm sadly)

Currently using a loan laptop as mine is currently getting fixed.

It got mediocre spec and still able to surf, stream, use my IDE's to code etc. without any problems.

Just stay away from Acer that's it lol.

Why no SSD though?

I just bought a ASUS ZenBook UX310UQ QHD+

It has 4k video which is why I prefer it. Actually it's not worth getting a laptop that's not Macbook unless it has 4k right now. Only disadvantage macbooks have is that they don't have 4k, otherwise they are the perfect laptop.

Was looking at this laptop but decided don't want to spend that much money and bought Acer Swift 3 instead, it's enough for my needs. What a beautiful machine this is, my god. One of the best designs i've seen on a laptop.

Macbook, holy shit are some App£€ fans deluded. There's no single Ape product that is "worth" getting.

I think iPhones are worth getting, not the recents ones but 6/6+/7 are great. I hate Android, used android before but switched to iPhones and I'm never going back.

Macbooks are pointless though.

Android is as good from usability perspective as iOS, just different. The hardware though is about half the price. Brand cost in App£€, and that's why I always say to anyone who swears to them, "You know that their bosses laugh how much money they are making from you?" And the answer is mostly silence and dismiss.
