Spurs and Madrid had a partnership agreement last season which was obvious PR bullshite that Spurs took a bit serious.. Now that it more than obvious that Arsenal got Ozil only because Spurs made it possible for Bale to be sold...

The Ozil deal has ruffled some feathers in Tottenham

another reason might be because, PSG offered more Money for Ozil but Madrid still sold to Arsenal many see this as Flo's Middle Finger salute to levy for making Bale f*cking expensive...

Florentino probably sold Oezil to Arsenal just to spite Spurs after he got hassled into paying 100m for Bale. Frankly if I were bullied like that I'd want to get back at them too.

We didn't sell to PSG because it would of been suicide in the UCL with Cavani and Ibra and the money to build around that.

Arsenal is less of a threat.

Spurs made us wait to get bale until they finished their slowmotion shopping and to satisfy Levvys own ego.

Isn't that just a supporter's group wanting to ask their club(Spurs) about what their partnership with Madrid is? I think you're misunderstanding it for Spurs themselves asking Madrid about the partnership(if that's what you mean).

Ozil wanted to go to United but they offered him less wages than Arsenal. At the end of the day, Arsenal fought harder for him.

I do think that Spurs could potentially claim fault with not being given first-notice of Ozil's (or others') availability, to be honest. While the "partnership" does not appear to have definitive public stipulations that would seem to be a fair expectation, especially with the Modric and Bale deals.

With Tottenham's summer rebuilding project a player such as Ozil would certainly have been a tasty and tempting target... likely more attractive than Eriksen even with the disparate price tags. And basic logic would suggest di Maria would certainly sit high atop Spurs' list of potential targets as they looked to replace Bale and missed out on Willian... with an added benefit of di Maria leaving being that Ozil may not have been available to their most despised rival.

This is, of course, all dependent on a number of different "ifs" and "maybes." Would either of Ozil or di Maria have even been interested in joining Spurs? Would Tottenham have been willing to meet their wage demands? DID Spurs get early notice of the availability of Ozil and simply opted for a cheaper alternative? There are a lot of possibilities, but at it's core, there is also a bit of legitimacy to the concerns Spurs fans have about the supposed partnership. Some of their ire may need to be focused on Levy and the Spurs hierarchy rather than Madrid, though.

All Madrid needs to do is to say that they asked Ozil if he would consider Spurs and he said no... which is highly probable given no CL.

Red, Coentrao and Di Maria both refused to go to Spurs, so i doubt Ozil would have considered them.
