I will start with centerback Eliaquim Managala from FC Porto.

Became a full time starter last season (joined in 2011) after clearly surpassing his rivals for a spot.

22 years old (23 in Feb next year) and already a French International. Which takes some doing considering the options they have.

1.87 m (6 ft 2 in) tall and he used every bit of it to score a quite impressive 7 goals from set pieces last season.

I only watched a game from Mangala, France vs. Uruguay, and I disliked him very much. Slow to turn, not very fast, not great on the ball. But very physical and good in the air for sure.
Can't really have a big opinion with one game though.

My scouting would be Julian Draxler. Although we all know who he is, I think given his age, current quality, physical attributes and technique, he can be a world beater in a couple of years, and maybe wouldn't be so overpriced as Bale or Marco Reus. The only problem I see, is that he is best adept at playing as left winger or AM rather than RW, the position we have a vacant, but I would gladly trade Alexis for him. He would also some needed cm that we could use when on defending corners, although aerial game is not his best but would definitely help when defending.

He has a 45m buyout clause if i remember reading correctly right here on this forum.

Reus even lesser actually.

I bet we could get Draxler for less than 45 million right now, probably not in a couple of years.
Anyway, I'd rather pay 45 for Draxler than 40 for Malexis as we did.

In that case, we are foolish not to sell Alexis for 20ish (if someone is willing to bid that much, which I doubt) and sign Reus for 35.

theres a guy that plays for Pescara, can't remember his name atm. the team just got relegated and he would likely be available for not that much

In that case, we are foolish not to sell Alexis for 20ish (if someone is willing to bid that much, which I doubt) and sign Reus for 35.

Its 40m euros and it doesn't come into effect till next summer.

I heard really really good things about him. Genoa actually own him, not Pescara.
