Stoke are a disgrace to the BPL. The worst team in the league by far. Hope they get relegated this season.

You know, I'm glad those thugs just missed a penalty. It would have been the most undeserved point ever.

Well done Mignolet.

LFC still have the same problems as last season. They just cannot score enough goals. They create chances, but just do not finish them.

We've seen just how close a shet team like Stoke could have come away with a draw today.

They wont get away with it against decent opposition.

This is why PL is the greatest league in the world, a game between 2 so-so sides in a incredible high tempo.

Really enjoyed this match, being my first experience watching this league (hence my name). I agree that if Stoke had made that goal it would really have sucked. They just didn't deserve to draw this match.

Verizon Fios hasn't come to any sort of agreement, I guess, on streaming through the NBC app.

Who knows when that will be

Looks like I'll be able to catch every game through my provider, which is Comcast. They're usually worthless, but so far, I see all matches on the channel guide and on the NBC Live Extra as being broadcast. Now if I could only watch them all! I'd never leave the house.

I really like your enthusiasm, just make sure to catch more Liverpool games and discover what's truly the best football club in the world Thumbs up

Thanks, Arte. I'm psyched to watch the best football out there. Don't care for American football any more and haven't for years. I do want to watch all the teams and get their histories so I can pick who I really want to support. Don't want to choose lightly. That's just how I am!

It's the first day of the season and fairly early in the match. Referee didn't want to make such an influential call so early on.

Anthony Taylor beat Arsenal today, not Aston Villa. I can think of maybe 1 or 2 calls all game that he got correct, like not giving us a penalty when Wilshere went down, but outside of that he whistled every single time we won the ball. Koscielny didn't foul anybody all game long and yet he somehow gets 2 yellows

Spoiler:

We always play like shit after international breaks, and at home, and when Arteta isn't fit.

...and when we make no new signings, when defenders start dropping like flies and when we can't put chances away.

An awful lot of coincidences there.
